Well, the murderer was the main “prize,” I suppose. We only have to find out what happened to “Susan” and the others. I suppose they all got out just fine.

think this arc can get stretched out to Sunday before Labor Day?…

loose ends need to be tied up and there’s twelve days left to wind this mess up and consign it to the nearest landfill…

Madsen probably does not know Sprocket so she’s back with Adam free until she meets Tracy or Crystal

I’m assuming, and hoping, that this was just the ending of the Madsen story line and not just dead dropped. And they other story lines are continued on.

Nice of them to take Madsen’s blue jacket off of him. Too much firepoop on it, I suppose!

Apparently the end, and I still don’t get it. I feel dumb.

So, no confrontation between Tracy & Sprocket, & no real evidence left tying Audie & Sabrina to the phone scam. Sam might as well have said so much for the past 3 months or so of our time.

TRACY: A job well done! Now it’s off to a manly evening of martinis and canasta!

Sam, has to rush back to HQ and write out a 1,000 lines and submit it to Chief Patton – “I must not touch evidence without putting on latex gloves so as to preserve fingerprint / DNA evidence” – please refer Comic Sunday 23 July 2023 – panel 5- candy wrapper compromised and now tainted evidence, if it was evidence in the first place. Is it hard to draw latex gloves on a hand in a comic panel?

so the rest of the investigation just gets dropped. we got the shooter who only started to get nasty when we looked into the tv station. oh well better go move the moon coup

Like I said yesterday, Madsen didn’t kill that guy he shot, so no murder charge, just felony assault. No bullets, so no harm no foul on trying to take out Tracy. He’ll be out in six months after singing like a canary about Audie’s operation. Susan will get out scot-free and will probably meet Tracy somehow without his recognizing her.

I have been noticing for the past few days, that Ray hasn’t been frequenting these here parts…

he must be so disgusted and disheartened with this arc that he decided to wait until we have a clean slate and fresh start with a new arc…

and no matter how bad any future arcs might be, they’ve STILL got be be better than this piece of pigeon schitt…

Maybe…just maybe, the story is not really over…..

We’re back to 1940.After a crook named Deafy backed over Junior with his truck and broke both of the kid’segs(it was no accident),he got sprayed by a skunk and easily tracked down.

And the cops are yelling at each other—“He’s riding in YOUR car!He’s not riding in MY Car!”The more things change,the more they stay the same.

Wonderful art—-well,you can say the police did their job because the scam building has been reduced to ashes—-and all thatremains is that the fire department can find out how it started.(My guess is overloaded wiring—-when Sprocket burst in the fire seemed a big surprise to the other three.)

I have no doubt Sprocket got out all right and has retreated to the safety of home and hearth(which she amazingly found out she likes).

So Tracy got the side criminal and not the main one(s). :-|

And, just like that, the whole Sprocket “Susan” Nitrate/Audie (who does or doesn’t hear “voices” in his head, according to what is or isn’t PC today)/Sabrina, et al., phone scam premise goes up in smoke along with the not-really-vacant old TV station.

Since Tracy is satisfied that he’s caught the Big Fish, Sam has bagged the gun Madsen was carrying, and no one has died in this whole shambling narrative, I suppose we must also accept that this outcome is “good enough”,,,,
