Nice to see Queen Mag didn’t forget to bring air support for her ground offensive. Her cart is a bit of a tank. Funny thing tanks. They got their name because the allies didn’t want to give away what it was with the name. So they went with something, well, less exciting.

It looks like she has taken back the dumpster.

Queen Mag is a very determined looking raccoon.

What worries me is that with enough of them at or below ground level, they could flip the wagon from beneath… crossing fingers that Mag and Burt have schemed a way to prevent that tactic from working.

She’ll give them headaches by landing on them.

She looks a little surrounded. She has Homestyle and Thimblefist and the chickadees are in flight. But there are a few elements still to join the fight – the mice, her other racoon generals, and of course Bea and Magazine. And Wicket has yet to appear. The battle has just begun.

9/29 was the strip that showed Queen Magnet doffing her own crown and regalia and putting on her father’s. No wonder the chickadees are flying instead of riding.

I hear a very faint whisper of “Ride of the Valkyries”.

The moles apparently are attacking underground by digging Bugs Bunny type tunnels across the field, throwing up the soil as they go. Not just an unexpected mole hill. Is this a thing outside cartoons… I suppose, this is a cartoon.

Yep, very Queen Boadicea, but this battle will have a very different ending! Queen Mag has Burt’s technical genius on her side and more allies.s

Please tell me those are mole Hills and not mole Holes that she can ride over instead of tipping into. That would be devastating! (Can’t tell you how many times I’ve twisted my ankle in a mole hole while gardening.)

I’m guessing that the only reason Thimblefist isn’t playing a flamethrowing electric guitar is because strumming guitar strings is difficult with thimbles.

Yikes! Seems like the moles have a scorched Earth policy.

OT: Vanessa (Ferret Association Of CT shelter director and rescuer of former lab ferret Tina that I wrote about on 10/4/23) asked me to pass along her thanks to everyone who left condolences. “Please post a Thank You to those who sent messages about Tina. It was very kind of them.” Vanessa is an even grumpier old woman than I am, if that’s even possible, because as shelter director she sees plenty of the worst of humanity. But she doesn’t put Tina’s former lab into that category. When FACT started reaching out to these laboratories, offering them an alternative to euthanasia for ferrets that had passed their usefulness, most of them were happy to surrender to the shelter. We’re not against medical research to improve human lives, but every time you use pretty much any kind of treatment for colds, flu, and other respiratory ailments, including covid vaccines, just remember to have some gratitude for the ferrets that were used in that research.

Cue the “Attack” theme from Patton.

This will go down as one of the greatest wars in history!

She appears to be well armed and armored.

This is so exciting!!

It is going to be so much fun later to go back and binge the entire story at one sitting.

OT kitten update!

I hope that Queen Mags vehicle is making a mighty trundling noise, that strikes fear into the hearts of those mad moles. :D

I have noticed that there are “Creators” folowing BCN, and also Red and Rover. I think that’s GREAT! That’s how good she is, and Brian with the looks on Rover’s face. JMO

The little princess is about to enter the scene bravely but foolishly. She may briefly become a hostage. That’s my prediction, anyway =P

I’m hoping there’s a book of this saga. I love it.
