And this is why it’s okay to leave negative comments. I can’t speak for Batiuk, but I know as a fact that comic strip artists read the comments. Could that be why he abruptly changed from “Funky comic book nerd” to Ed Crankshaft flanked by his two coffee shop buddies? AND no exploding b-b-q’s, no Bean’s End catalogs, no school bus shenanigans…a fresh story line! We shall see.

So that’s what happened to Skip’s left arm…it fell off from him trying to pat himself on the back each time he trotted out one of his “killer” puns.

My Uncle used to call our local paper the Sub-Standard Times.. so this made me chuckle
