Lol, I had Covid, no vax, had some after effects, Doctor test me to confirm I was well, told I had great immunity and months later was exposed at a restaurant with no illness, I have never been affected since, yet Vaxxers are repeated getting it again plus more “healthy” vaxxers are dying at a young and healthy age, I have met others like me too, we call ourselves Pure Bloods, so keep passing lies, your kind will not inherit the earth, Lol!
Don’t be fooled. The “anti-vax” politicians are all fully vaxxed. They rage against vaccines because it appeals to their mouth-breathing base, not because they’re stupid enough to actually believe what they’re saying.
We were quite lucky that Covid-19 had relatively weak mortality—but now that the response has been politicized by anti-science fanatics, the stage has been set for a really massive death toll when the next one comes along. Even worse, it may not be an accident next time. The knowledge to cure also involves the opposite…
Er, this arc is pure propaganda. According to official government figures from the US, Europe, the UK, and all developed countries, the fully vaxxed account for 19 out of every 20 Covid deaths.
It is true that “RED” areas have a higher mortality rate. But they have all kinds of excuses like age to rationalize it. The thing about vaccine deaths is so bogus. Billions of shots have been administered! Now you would think the body count from them would be a wee bit noticeable!!
I understand there are some who believe the vaccines are “engineered” to poison MAGA supporters. I wonder how those people would react if they were told that the evil Democrats were spreading that rumor so the MAGAs wouldn’t get the vaccines… I wonder how many heads would explode?
UGLY TRUTH IS NOT WELCOME….LIKE MAYBE ARCHAIC RELIGIONS DEMANDING OVERPOPULATION BECAUSE WAY BACK WHEN, THEY NEEDED MORE BABIES, NOW THEY ARE KILLING THE PLANET, IDIOTS.
All of this reminds me a little of the people who yearn for the “good old days,” when you didn’t wear seat belts or bike helmets, when you drank from the garden hose… “and somehow we survived.” The problem is not the ones yearning for those days, the ones who DID survive, it’s the ones who DIDN’T survive car crashed, bike accidents, etc, things that did not get the publicity given to them in recent days.
The vaccines do not prevent you from being infected, nor do they prevent you from passing it on to others. What they do is to help you not die. Particularly if you are elderly or immune compromised.
The jab is not a vaccine and anyone can get and transmit the virus. The rest is pure propaganda. There is also a difference in dying from Covid and dying with Covid. The majority of deaths were with, since they had up 4 other problems. Age, cancer, diabetes, obesity. The left loves to play with stats.
What I always found tremendously ironic is how so many of the same people who cheered and praised Donald Trump for “Operation Warp Speed” ….. ended up refusing the same vaccines that “Operation Warp Speed” gave us on an emergency basis.
Sometimes I suspect that BE THIS GUY doesn’t literally mean totally everything that he absolutely posts: he’s waddyacallit — sardonic? fun-loving? lets-get-the-party-rolling-like? anything-to-Épater-la-bourgeoisie-esque?
The thing about the vaccine … it makes your brain magnetic and bill gates can see, what you see and he knows what you’re reading (reading, who am I kidding?) he knows what TV shows you watch and how fast you drive. Boy It’s scary.
Anyone who would like protection against magnetic brain syndrome can purchase one of my special hats. These special hats offer the best protection against brain scanning available today. $12 a piece, 3 for $50. One size fits all.
The crazy part of this is that the false logic the illustrious politician spouts did actually come up during the pandemic. Some (I hope not many) red-staters actually thought there was a Democratic conspiracy to kill them off. They loved conspiracy theories and us-versus-them belief systems so much that they believed there could be some way to target them while disbelieving that a vaccine could protect everybody.
I don’t think it is the vaccines that are making the difference anymore. Pretty much everyone has immunity now one way or the other. The difference is that in red states. people are not taking it seriously, not getting antivirals like paxlovid, (or getting it too late).
I don’t even understand how vaccines became political but it was a major mistake by trump, everyone was saying a vaccine would take years. he did what the US does best threw money at the problem and got a working vaccine developed quickly. this was a major event by a person i loath but to be fair, he got it done. but instead of waving the flag “I brought you back to normality” he made the vaccine something to despise, even as he had one himself. throwing away his one major achievment.
I got the COVID booster a month ago along with my Flu shot. But right now I’ve been laid low by a common head cold. I’m dying….Ahhhhhghgh…(Yep. I’m a man.)
So true. Darwin knew of which he spoke and never could’ve known about American anti-vaxxers at the time. That not only includes a broad swath of Republicans, but RFK Jr. supporters, too.
Did fine? How old are you? When I was a kid back in the early 60’s I had a kid in my class who had polio. Unlike many polio survivors he didn’t need an iron lung to breath for him, Only his legs were paralyzed from polio . I also had a teacher who had small pox and bore the scars on her face. Both of these diseases were stopped by vaccine. Believe me, back in the 50’s into the 60’s people were screaming for more vaccines to cure diseases that had plauged mankind for centuries. I myself got the dangerous form of measles only a year before the vaccine came out. It almost killed me. Things were definatly not better before vaccines came about.
This has been around a while. When the pandemic arrived in the United States, Democratic leaning counties had higher death rates. When COVID-19 vaccines became available, Republican leaning counties had higher death rates. NPR has an interactive graphic. It has two scatter plots. Each “dot” represents one county. Each plot has a horizontal axis showing the percentage of votes that went to Trump. The vertical axis for the left chart is vaccination rates. The vertical axis for the right is the death rate. The size of a “dot” represents the size of the county. Users can select a county using a search box.
It’s from May, 2022.
“Pro-Trump counties continue to suffer far higher COVID death tolls”
First, I have no doubt that all of Congress is vaccinated, even the “anti-vaxxers”.
However, I had to go back and make sure that this was a Senate hearing. It’s far more likely that House chairman would not be vaccinated, and that the ranking member would be.
See also Kentucky’s “doctor” Rand Paul. He’s still out there with his tinfoil hat. I think the state has the market cornered for anti-vax conspiracy nut jobs who also happened to hold public office.
So, the committee chairmen, a Democrat, is unvaccinated (and concerning himself with the welfare of Republican-voters), while the ranking committee member, a Republican, is fully vaccinated and not successfully infected by Mr. Covid?
Am I the only one who sees this as either implausible* or occurring in an alternate timeline?
*(Don’t ask me about the plausibility of a Senate committee questioning a gargantuan talking anthropomorphic virus. I’m not taking questions on that matter at this time.)
Trudeau apparently forgot that Democrats control the Senate, and the Committee Chair would be a Democrat, and the Ranking Member would be a Republican, unlikely to admit being vaxxed even if he was. The joke would have more sense in the House.
I believe this is true. The last time I checked, the ten states with the highest age-adjusted COVID death rates were predominantly Red… the lowest were predominantly Blue. That said, it saddens me that public health has become politicized. Perhaps it is Darwinistic…. those who adapt (i.e., have a sound immune system or the intelligence to get vaccinated) survive.
I remember reading about entire congregations succumbing to COVID because fundamentalist “Christians” eschewed vaccines in favor of their “God-given immune system” (which can’t even stop the common cold). If the Christian population drops, where can “the right” find more Christians? Well, there’s always the supposed waves of predominantly Christian undocumented immigrants…

From Worldometers website for the United States:
Coronavirus Cases: 109,508,481
Deaths: 1,183,393
Recovered: 107,407,494
For the world as a whole:
Coronavirus Cases: 698,311,391
Deaths: 6,943,790
Recovered: 669,698,066
So: 4% of the world’s population, 17% of its COVID-19 fatalities. Discuss.
