I had a feeling this was gonna happen. Darryl, Wanda make the little whiners stay out there until they freezes their butts off.

If they’re cold already, those snow clothes aren’t warm enough. As the Norwegians say, “there’s no bad weather, just bad clothes.”

Sometimes wanting, is much better than having!

Baby Wren looks so cute bundled up.

Maybe Darryl and Wanda have learned not to give in to a bunch of whiny brats. But probably not. After all, they can’t risk damaging their tender psyches by telling them “NO” and following through on it.

You have GOT to be squiddin’ me!! First they pester you to take them to this faraway overpriced dump and you say “No, no, no! N-O! No means NO!!” Then finally you break down and give in to their unreasonably selfish wish. But the second you set one foot out of the car… “We’re hot/cold! We’re bored! Our feet hurts! Can we go home already?” AURGH!!! I hate, hate, hate, hate, HATE it when kids do it! Ungrateful little waste of human flesh!!

Always be careful what you wish for.

I’m not sure how you finished building a snowman if you just got there.

Wanda’s got the Captain Kirk voice and timing, “You.WILL.enjoy it.”

Darryl expected anything less?

Are they at a resort? Maybe the kids will feel better after a quick hot cocoa break.

You’re going to have fun whether you like it or not.

Hammie needs to stay until he gets to experience frozen snot. After all, that’s what started this whole thing. Zoe might as well experience it too.

I don’t blame Darryl for growling. Make the little blighters run around, make a snow fort and have a snowball fight.

Give them a sled – walking up a steep hill will warm you up in no time

How long do you suppose they lasted? 10 minutes?

And they really wanted to go to Disney. After a day there, imagine the same scene would happen!

And the moral of this story is, “Be Careful Of What You Wish For. You Might Actually Get It.”

I told you so 2-3 days ago! However, I thought Wanda was going to skip the outing. Still remains to be seen if they stop for ice cream on the way home…

Parents need to teach their kids what the word ‘no’ means. We’re getting a lot of them in community college that never heard the word before and the whining that happens when we tell them ‘no’ for the first time is ridiculous.You didn’t go to class and got dropped? No, we’re not going to re-enroll you.You didn’t study or do the work and you want a passing grade? No, that’s not going to happen.

The only person here who’s learning a lesson is Wren. Her lesson is that she should whine every time she gets something that she begged mom and dad for for days straight.

Wheres the sleds? That will get them in the snow mood!

Could be worse. Could have driven halfway up the mountain before a sudden storm closed the highway. And there is no way to get off the road.

Public Service Announcement: Some people have said this is Arizona. If you are ever driving in AZ outside of a populated area, at any time of year but especially cold season or summer, you must have plenty of water and some food. There are long stretches of highway with absolutely nowhere to go except straight ahead.

SO SO TYPICAL! I’m sure they will have a blast once they start playing. Reminds me of the day I took my 8-year-old granddaughter to stroll around some beautiful gardens in our area. It was during “covid” and masks were still required everywhere practically and when we got there she said, “Now why did we come over here?” And, I said, well, it’s one of the few places we can go and not have to wear a mask! She ended up running around all over and having a blast.

Who saw this coming?

So where do they live that they’ve never played in the snow before? I haven’t read the comic from the beginning. TIA

Well, small children are sociopaths, though Hammie and what’s-her-name should have gotten out of the sociopath phase by their ages.

When Zoe and Hammie stop fighting and team up, they wield incredible power!

This is exactly the kind of thing that happens when parents give in to unreasonable demands from their children. Serves them right.
