It would be a lot of work, but you could use a bucket to transfer water from the bathtub to the toilet or sink. That would reduce the amount of water pressure on the tail.

Lucy lost all of her horse sense. She’s been hanging around Danae too long.

I have to agree about the plunger. It’s used to push water (and other stuff) down, not to pull it up.

That’s why it is recommended to wear your ‘indoor’ flippers. And about that making bubbles in the tub thing… (The dog did it.)

All the discussions in the above comments, but no one praising Danae for finding a good way to get Lucy to take a bath. At least, she’s trying to keep her horse clean.

Years ago, my daughter became the proud owner of a registered all-white Pony of America (a Welsh Mountain Pony – Appaloosa crossbreed). She had long flowing mane and tail locks, and feathered hocks. When clean, she was absolutely dazzling.

Daughter hated to bathe her. As soon as she finished, the pony would go out in the pasture, find the biggest mud-slick or poop smear, and roll in it.

This is most definitely an older strip – so likely that Wiley is on vacation.
