Hmmm, yeah, if one of them had pitched “Lupin knocked everything off the walls” as a story in a meeting, everyone else would be asleep before they finished the sentence.
…I mean. Cats. So I’m sure all their meetings have nap breaks. But specifically asleep.
When I had new siding, I took everything off the walls. I made the mistake of laying a wall clock on the kitchen counter leaning up against the wall so I could still see the time. Unfortunately, the hammering must have caused the clock to fall over, and then off the counter and onto the floor where it stopped, short, never to run again. Since Jasper had taken up residence in the basement, he was never a suspect.
Anyone else feel guilty when something happens even though you weren’t involved? And when accused you deny it but they still think it was you because “you look guilty”. (Or was it just me)
A cat who knows the ceiling is a floor if you believe in it is bound to knock everything off the wall! (ミゝᆽ╹ミ) I was trying to post this hours ago at the local computer shop, but kept getting interrupted. For those of you who remember me posting about a certain hubby’s laptop keyboard getting destroyed by diet pepsi, he has replaced the said destroyed contraption with a newer shinier model with wife’s approval. I told him, “This is an early birthday gift from me.” ;) ❤
It makes so much sense, even Lupin believed it. Can’t blame them for burying the story. Puck’s quest for a relaxing morning seemed to please the audience.
My husband has his great-great grandfather’s clock that he had built himself. He was from Denmark, became a clock maker in the US and built tower clocks that can be found in India and China as well as Michigan. He built a Grandfather clock for each of his children. My husband was fortunate to inherit one of them.
I am eaten up with guilt right now. Living in the boonies, I have to haul my trash to a county “convenience station” to avoid paying outrageous fees for private waste management. Today, there was a young cat that had apparently been abandoned there (very common in this area), white with gray and black markings and a tail with raccoon rings. Beautiful yellow-green eyes, and friendly. I can’t bring another cat into my home right now, so out of desperation I was going to take it to the shelter (do not want to go there but Animal Control will not pick up cats, and its better than starving to death or getting run over). However, I did not have a carrier with me and Kitty was adamant about not wanting to be in the car. Did not have time to go home and get a carrier and try to trap it before the shelter closed. I was so upset that I apparently stopped breathing and almost passed out. I’ll go back tomorrow with carrier and food and see if Kitty is still there. There is a farm next to the dump, so hopefully it will make its way to the barn before some monster farm truck runs it over, and live happily ever after. I hate being poor. If I ever win the lottery…
I hope the window installers measured carefully and got the shape correct before they cut the hole. That is a beautiful window and deserves a careful framing job. Do we suppose it is going into a window seat niche where it will be comfortable for Sophie?
Is anyone else seeing an intermittent gray banner at the top of the page? When it is there, it moves all the text down on the page; then it disappears and all the text jumps up again. It’s like trying to play whack-a-mole to “like” or reply to anything.
I’ve tried contacting the powers that be, but I keep getting that @%!!)# captcha boxes that doesn’t believe I’m real!

Lupin, you are the Prince of Chaos. And we all know that somehow, in some way….you DID knock everything off the walls!

Look at Lupin, claiming responsibility for chaos that he didn’t do and wasn’t chaos.

Knowing our boys have very short memories (when it comes to what time they had a snackie treat), I can see Lupins’ thought process.

Had siding installed and didn’t think which is normal. They knocked a clock off my kitchen wall, LOL!! Luckily the only thing to fall.

Meanwhile, Back on the Nile
At the Royal Kitchen
Thomos: Iggy and the Water Cat Brothers really had a great haul this time.
Sue Chef: I know. We’ll have a feast of Perfect Perch with a medley of vegetables. Trevor-Hotep brought in the early Miracle Zucchini.
Thomios: And we all know why they are Miracle Zucchini.
Sue Chef: Right. Each vine only produces ten zucchini.
Enter Puckmosis
Puck: I’m wondering if you’ve seen Bea. She said something about Elvis finding a new scroll mentioning a hidden room at the oPyramid.
Thomios: Yes. She went with Wally, Iggy, and Vi to explore. Ora Z went with them to visit with Mandy and Lynn.
Puck: I’ll bet they have a lunch box with them.
Thomios: As it says on my sun dial, “No one goes hungry on my watch.”
At the oPyramid
Mandy Luthier: Here are the new percussion instruments we talked about, OZ. Go ahead and try them out.
Ora Z: Can’t wait. We’re doing a program with Lupinium for this year’s Summer Games.
Lynn: We made sure these instruments are extra durable.
Beatrixia: We’ll leave you to it. See you on the way back.

Can confirm. The headline story is, “Pictures off walls, cats not accused.”

Well Lupin, since cats have excellent memories, you might want to go to the doctor and get tested for CDS.
