Always need a fun one

Back when we had to pay for film. Each exposure was costly. Nothing like what we experience today.

We’ll have these moments to remember.

Why is he saying click instead of actually clicking?

Hit him where it hurts – the wallet. Take the cost of that film roll right out of his allowance, Dad… :)

Why are kid so against having their photos taken?

Dad, you should have known, Calvin wouldn’t let you have ALL perfect pictures ! ! !! !

I hated having my picture taken, still do. But had I pulled that stunt with my mom or dad at that age, I’d have been making faces because my rear end was too sore to sit on.

Ah, the olden days. Where a bad camera shot meant that one of your 24 (?) pictures on your film was wasted.

Calvin obviously knows the difference between a Dad “click” and an actual camera “click”.

what a stinker, he knows the sound of what type of clicks there are. :j

Anyone else remember when your parent licked the light bulb before inserting it into the camera to ensure its flash? Then when it did you saw the blue spot before your eyes for minutes because the flash was so bright? Of course the light bulb was good for only one flash, and you had to do it all over again for the next picture!

Calvin outfoxes Dad.

When I would take pictures of kids, I’d always say “on 3, ready? 1, (click)” Never get to 2 and let the kid make a face.

Pre PC WOKE Nikon cameras went “Crick”.

Only people old enough to have had a film camera will truly understand this one.

Maybe say “click” again while pressing the shutter button to distract Calvin from the moment being upon him?

To this day I hate people taking pictures of me.

These days, it’s often better to take video and grab a good frame.

2 out of 3 is a miracle ! ;-)

No fooling Calvin when it comes to camera sounds!

I never did that on purpose, but there are a LOT of terrible pictures of me when I was C’s age.

My youngest used to do this. When he got to be an adult he wondered why there were no good pictures of him as a child.

Well, two out of three ain’t bad.

Dad did that to us for the family holiday card. 4 children, 1 trying to smile, one trying to keep their eyes open and 2 trying not to cry. Every. Year.
