I estimated that on average I have had about two bad nights of sleep every week for at least the last 40 years. I must feel like I am more that 8,000 years old.

The Alaska King Bed is more than twice the area of the Texas King. Of course, you wouldn’t want to sleep in the ANWR…

I hate king beds. I get lost in them. When I visit my brother it happens every time. I’m cosy in my double (alone) but I have a king-size quilt, no drafts as it goes well down the sides of the bed.

These oversized square beds would be great for Charlie Bucket’s grandparents!

Try sleeping on a mattress about five inchest thick on top of a metal cabinet. Those were the conditions I slept in while on board Naval ships during my stint in the Navy. They called the mattress covers “fart sacks”.

Honestly I think they’ve been getting kind of goofy in Stockholm over the years.

When I lose that much sleep, I feel like I have one foot in the grave.

Try putting the Wyoming bed in an 8 foot by 8 foot bedroom. Hopefully the door open outward.

How does somebody know if they feel 4 years older? They won’t know that for another four years.

Back in the 1970’s, Canadian PM Pierre Trudeau commented about our common border, “It’s like sleeping next to an Elephant. You feel every twitch, jerk, sneeze and rollover.”

I wonder what the scientific criteria are for measuring how a person feels a year older.

In “The Invisible Intruder” Scrooge McDuck had a bed the size of a ballroom but it picked up the vibrations from his money tamping machine and he thought somebody was stalking him.

Well, then, so THAT’S why I often feel about 160 years old.

Another one deleted, and no idea why… Was the featured comment, and had more than 32 likes at last count… guess somebody thinks ‘sleep with’ absolutely has sexual connotations.

The whole topic today was about beds and sleeping. What say you JohnShirley1?? I have a question for you – - are you a moderator disguising yourself as a commenter?

California may be bigger than Wyoming, but Wyoming has more wide-open spaces.
