I wonder if this turn-style jumper is the same guy we saw in the clock tower. You’d think we’d be seeing a criminal soon, but I’m not sure that evading transit fares counts as a “major crime.”

At last, some real crime for the MCU team to sink their teeth into. After Sam finishes his sandwich, of course.

A mere “token” gesture.

I would wonder how this transit cop got so quickly from one of the turnstile to the other to arrest this great threat to the law-abiding citizens of TracyVille, but that would probably be giving this strip more thought than it’s worth.

Definitely NOT NYC. We don’t arrest fare jumpers anymore.

Can an average looking hood be involved in whatever big time crime that is supposed to happen ?

Two weeks ago, I saw a fare evader on an Amtrak train. He had no ticket, and was caught hiding in the restroom.

This story is off to a “fare” start, maybe this guy is a habitual criminal, and will play a part in this saga!

Did not know Tracy City had a subway! Bet it would be an interesting ride!

“Jumping a turnstile on the New York City subway is a Class A misdemeanor, which is a violation of New York Penal Section 165.15. The penalty is up to one year in jail, but first-time offenders are usually offered plea bargains with lesser charges. These charges may include community service or an adjournment in contemplation of dismissal”

Another article asserted no one has ever been sentenced to a year for the crime and offered a list of options that have been given miscreants.

Processing them is more of a hassle for the city than the fare would have cost the freeloader in the first place. Jumping the turnstile with the cop standing right there is the definition of stupid, however there are a lot of stupid people in the world. Verdict: Day 9 without plot holes or logic errors.

The entire place will blow up and the fare jumper will turn out to be a major terrorist threat to Dick Tracy and the squad !

Don’t know who this character is. But, I don’t like his (turn) style.

Actually,it’s worthwhile to grab fare jumpers—-there’s outstanding warrants on at least half of them.
