I mean, my mom always freezes stuff to preserve it, so. . . .

I knew it: Jonah has dumped Shannon on the DeGroots for the holidays (Brad and Toni are probably on call during this period)!

Shannon didn’t need to freeze it — there are enough preservatives in it that refrig would be fine. For about 25 years.

Do what you must to preserve her gift. Christmas, Santa, and all the colorful lights and decorations are more for the kids. And for adults who are still kids at heart. I still like to look at the lights but as a child it was all almost magical.

The true meaning of Christmas is for everyone. Merry Xmas and Happy Holidays all! Peace and good will.

Someone call Child Protective Services. There’s an unaccompanied child wandering the streets of Pitts.

I think it might be time for the strip to do the arc, with all attendant sensitivity and caring, addressing that Shannon is a special needs child and requires professional intervention. I’m sure Arc or another qualified agency would be happy to consult. It could be an important one for the readership and perform a vital public service about early diagnosis and treatment.

On Christmas day Luann finds out it is a plastic squeaky toy hot dog…

Don’t feed people you love hot dogs in any quantity…

Judging by the sheer size of that box, you might wanna open it up first and see what that “hot dog” is made out of, Lu. ;-)

My father used to love salisbury steaks so we would wrap a package of them for him for Christmas but had to keep them in the freezer until time for him to unwrap them!

Ohhhhh…. Our Be❤️ed Count can’t wait to see what Dearest Ann❤️Eiffel got The Count for Christmas! The Count is on Ann❤️Eiffel’s Naughty List, boy howdy. Unwrapping it will be half the fun if you know what The Count means and The Count thinks you do ;9, Hubba Hubba, boy howdy. No wonder we all ❤️ Ann❤️Eiffel! Eat your ❤️s out, lowly unworthies. Dilly! Dilly!

The ‘hot dog’ could be a stolen dachshund. Luann should not take Shannon literally… or naively.

Puddles seems to have immediately understood that the gift is for him and sniffs it with great interest. Shannon really loves him a lot. Maybe now that Jonah is more stable, she will be able to have one of her own puppy.

But where did she get the hot dog? I highly doubt she went to the store and bought it herself. Does she just steal whatever she wants from whatever house she’s currently in?

Shannon considers herself Ironborn: she takes what is hers. God forbid someone tries to stop her and she pays the Iron Price.
