Aha! Arlo has a magic wand! Albeit, it does look a bit different than those described in the books and shown in the movies, but remember, the wand chooses the wizard! The secret that he was a student of magic makes itself very apparent in the third panel as he is holding his wand and sparks fly from the end of it (I’ll bet he used it to start the fire!). I wonder which school of magic he went to?

Looks like Arlo fixed his “Hat Hair” between panels 2 & 3…

Makes sense to me. This is the first year in several that I am anticipating the Holiday Spirit. It has been a slog but things are rolling forward. Blessing to all of You!

Perhaps Arlo is just setting the mood for a romantic interlude.

If only I had a fireplace. It would definitely be used with the weather we are having today….our first snow. Just a dusting on the ground and light snow showers falling now and temps in the 30s….brrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Yup. A warm crackling fire, the dogs and cats all gathered round and the Mrs and I just cuddling together with a cup of hot beverage and a favourite media playing, either music or something on the TV.
