Greg Evans isn’t saying so, but I’m thinking that Tiffany realizes just how much further away she’s getting from her teen party mode. In other words, she’s maturing.

Hmmm….is Stef being mocking or sincere? My vote is for the mockery. She saw the black dress, right? When she left their room, Tiff was in her sweatsuit. Next minute she sees her in a party dress. Yep, she’s mocking poor Tiff. And so she IS going to the same party with Kip. SO I’m confused as to why Kip invited Tiff. Am thinking perhaps They had something nefarious planned for Tiff and possibly good old Bernice threw a monkey wrench in their plans. Curses to the RA as usual.

Oh, this is interesting. This is the first time that Tiff mentioned “The Blackout” to Steffi, and Steffi knew all about it already (it’s no secret!)! Now I’m confused. Was Steffi supposed to invite Tiff, but conveniently forgot? Did Kip make an in-person visit to Tiff to invite her, because he knew Steffi would “forget”? What happened to Steffi’s “hang out with me at The Union” thing?

“Look at us, the perfect roomies!” Yeah, right… for as long as Steffi and Kip can “use” Tiff as their patsy….

OK, some were right on the no “cheer practice” and Stef was fully aware. But asking Tiff to be a lookout when Kip invited Tiff to the “game” raises another flag. My guess is maybe Kip does have an eye for the other girls and Stef is aware that, so this is her way of keeping Tiffany out of the picture. Was she on her way to ask Tiff to do keep Bernice occupied and Bernice showing up at just the right time a stroke of luck so Stef doesn’t come across as the jealous type? Hmm, this story line could get interesting and Stef subtlely letting Tiffany know that Kip is her man.

Tomorrow, Feb 29th, is Leap Day or Bachelor’s Day. Bachelor’s Day is an Irish tradition on Leap Day allowing women to initiate dances and propose marriage. If the proposal was refused the man was expected to buy the woman a silk gown or a fur coat (artificial fur of course). The US equivalent is Sadie Hawkins day (Nov 13th in 2020).

So to whom could Luann (remember her?) propose? Not many choices! Four years ago she had just broken with Quill and there’s been no serious romance in her life since. She’s an attractive young woman, not perfect but kind of nice. Can’t she have some love in her life?

Stefanie invited Tiffany to go Union (to avoid the Blackout party invitation) Tiffany declined the invitation and trys to study.Kip arrives and discloses the Blackout Party Invitation and reveals that Stefanie knows about Blackout Party. Tiffany abandons her studying and changes into “party attire” . Coincidentally, Bernice shows up and Stefanie diverts Tiffany to a study party. AHA moment for Tiffany, realizing that she manipulated by Stefanie and Kip.

Well Dog, you were right. Stef DID know about the Blacklight Party but deliberately kept it from roommate Tiffany, so Tiff can be the “lookout.” Cute. But to be fair, Tiffany once pulled something just about as bad, back in high school, with the infamous “Q-T Boyz Concert Tickets Incident.” Once again Karma taken up permanent residence on Tiffany’s doorstep.

Okay, so it’s now clear. Stef is a “User,” and possibly the “enemy.” No reason whatsoever for Tiffany to continue “nice” to her. Now I would say Tiff should Rat this party out in revenge. Stef (And the rest of the attendees) would get probably get expelled, and Tiff would have room to herself. Maybe for the rest of the semester. Nah. That would be mean.Fun, but mean.

Two choices Tiff. Study in your room as originally planned, or go to the Study Ball and complain how “Boring” it is. Either way, she’s probably better off.

So Stefi knew about the “Blackout” party as Tiffany calls it, all along? Since Kip sought out Tiffany particularly to go, and Stefi had invited Tiffany to hang out at the student union, but Tiffany demurred, setting off the cute temptation angels. So two fortuitous events then happened. Kip, the QT QB sought out Tiffany and invited her to the Blacklit party, and from Tiffany’s outfit indicates she was planning to go to what she called the “Blackout” party. The second fortuitous event was Bernie coming along inviting both to the musical study session, whereupon Stefi quickly lied and said she had cheer practice. Sooo…confused Tiffany was set straight by Stefi who knew about the party all along, and basically maneuvered Tiffany to go study, while she goes to partay. Brilliant! I mean its good that Tiffany is going to study, but Stefi is two-faced, and Kip is totally no-good. She wants to make sure she keeps an eye on him, and Tiffany away from him, while at the same time Tiffany gets to keep an eye on Bernice. Personally I wish Tiffany would snitch on them, but she won’t.

I really start to appreciate Stefani. In her egocentric shallowness there’s something hilarious and no malice. She is truly convinced that she’s doing a favor to Tiffany. And after all, Tiffany told her she wouldn’t go to the party because she had to study (and she really need it, so better avoid the party). They did everything wrong, but in the end, they really helped each other♡. Hilarious!

Ok, no surprises here. Kip wants to play, Stef moved into the same dorm to ensure her “prize” stays in her grasp. She also recognizes that Tiffany has Kip’s eye or at least interest (my belief is he’s chasing the “money” Tiff has since she had her own private room). The fun will ensue next week (assuming we’re not paused for a week or two) with Tiffany having to decide on enabling her other A wing fiends (Hair and Viper) and appearing to support Stef or enabling Bernice to “roam the halls” “looking for” people breaking regulations. The right answer would be to have the Angel and Devil appear tomorrow starting that debate but who knows how GnK will take this. That said, how long have GnK been having lots more development of Tiffany than Luann, two or three years? Interesting….

Answers to yesterday’s questions: 1) Stef was lying about cheer practice. 2) Stef knew about the party.

Today’s questions: 1) Why didn’t she, as the perfect roomie, invite Tiff? 2) Does she know “Kippee” personally invited Tiff? 2) Will the party be as outrageous/sinister as Greg is making it seem as to active require R.A. control? 3) Is Stef being clueless or manipulative in Panel 3? 4) Will we ever actually see the party or just Tiff stewing in “Study Ball?” 5) Kip specifically “came to see” Tiff yesterday. If she’s not at the party, will he look her up and will it be om party night or later.

Today’s prediction: Tiff will be at Study Ball tomorrow.

At first, I thought Kip might have had an actual side-interest in Tiffany (not telling Stefani) … but all the ‘coincidental nature’ of all this is too much. … Too much ‘Out of the Blue’ to be True! … Kip ‘plays the field’ in football, but he’s got a ‘trophy’ in Stefani!

Here is one thing: Folks like Viper and Hair will likely be at the par-tay as well. I think they and Tiff had actual fun during jelly bean poker earlier … Think they may feel a little bit for Tiff? After all, if a group has a good operation going, they should reward the ‘sentry’ at least every now and then! … Keeps things running smoothly.

Weird sort of jump in the story today to me.

Kip is asking Luann to go to the “Blackout Party” which Stephani knows about….. but she was going to the Union….. but she tells Tifffany she can watch the R.A. for her/them…. leading me to believe the “Blackout Party” is being held “illegally” in one of the other dorm rooms… and somehow Tiffany is now “required” to attend Classical Music Inspired Study Hall….

I admit I have not had a coffee or a pipe…. but even without…. my mind is not normally this confused.

Under no circumstances should Tiff go to the study group. Whether she goes to the Blackout party, goes to the library, decides to hang out at the Fuze or just stay in her room, she should make it very clear to Steffi that she won’t be manipulated. Very bad idea to give Steffi the impression that she (Tiff) will meekly cave in every time.

With everyone relying on Tiffany to keep an eye on Bernice, perhaps Tiff should charge babysitting fees.

Nevertheless… This is the best thing for Tiffany. She needs to study if she wants to pass. Once she gets her business degree, she can finally focus on creating TiffasNails, and forget all about her idiot father giving all his money to Ann Eiffel.
