Frank is eavesdropping?? Wow. I didn’t think guys are interested in feminine talk. My husband would just go to the other end of the house and watch TV or browse the internet. Especially if the girl is not his daughter. And he is telling Luann it is okay to eavesdropping? Shame on you, Frank.

Frank you are to funny. You tell the biggest snoop in your household Luann to be quiet, While you try to listen in on Nancy & Bernice conversation.

Oh, joy the plot continues and now Luann, the mouth without any self-censorship, arrives….

Well, G&K had to account for Luann somehow, since it’s evening and she lives there. If we didn’t see her come in (or wake up, or phone home, whatever), everyone would be all “where was Luann? Huh?” So I’m okay with this strip. Plus we didn’t switch to an entirely different arc, which makes me cautiously happy. If this is going to be another week of people talking at Bernice/Bernice carrying on, it better be good—last week was painful. Nil texting Bernice in the middle of the hoohah would be…I was going to say, good…but that’d depend on what he had to say. Was really hoping for a change of scene to Jack and Nil, or even just Nil doing…I don’t know…going to his studio and beginning to paint Bernice’s left eyebrow.

I noticed that Frank is wearing his wedding ring. Prior to the wedding ring arcs with Brad and Toni, one never saw them.

Frank has a tiny radio receiver in his, and with the house bugged, he can always hear everything. He is actually listening to his ring in the last panel. That sneaky Frank…

No, just the appearance of privacy.

I hope most of us can take a minute or two today and think of those who are no longer with us, and those who gave their lives for us.

Nothing is like your dog’s happiness when you come home ♡. I’m glad this arc continues and Luann has arrived. Bernice needs her help, because it’s very unlikely that she’ll be able to call Nil on her own or ask Jack if Nil has told him anything about their date. I’m sure Luann will be very supportive and happy to help her best friend. Luann, Nancy and Frank… Helping Bernice has become a teamwork for the whole family. GO DEGROOTS!!!

How old is Puddles now in “Luann” time….10? Chronologically our time he’s over 30.

We’re apparently expected to believe that Frank likes to eavesdrop on serious “girl-talk” conversations. Well, I refuse to believe it. I think this is Greg’s daughter Karen’s doing, and Greg needs to point out to her that that kind of behavior is ungentlemanly and ill-befitting a responsible family man. Unless he’ll tell us what Nancy and Bernice are saying, of course. C’mon, Frankie, come clean! We’re all ears.

This Bernice stuff is so boring. Haven’t they talked about it enough? The term “flogging a dead horse” comes to mind.

This seems to be a set-up to get Luann and Frank into Bernice and her relationship (s) neurosis generally and maybe help with Nil/Bernice. Hilarity will ensue, the rest is up for grabs.

I know they say that curiosity can kill the cat, but in their case that cat may already be dead.

Bernice & Nancy’s conversation took so long Frank had time to change his shirt.

I do hope we have a Nil and Jack talk. I would like to know how Nil felt about the evening and the kiss at the end.

This will never happen but I wish Bernice would stop trying to talk about all this to her friend’s mother, give Nil a call, ask him for coffee and figure out what both of them feel about what happened.

Quiet, you two! I’m trying to eavesdrop here! The Nan and Bern Show is way more entertaining than the Dad and Dull Daughter dialogue….

Bernie was shouting she was a French-kissing floozie, ffs. Frank couldn’t help hearing it. Is =that= eavesdropping? ;-) That’s all he has to say: “You were so loud that it would’ve been hard NOT to hear you, and then I was concerned, as I am in loco parentis, along with Nancy.”

Meanwhile, back at Tom Farrell’s law offices, Tom receives an email. After all these years, Tiffany’s birth mother wants to see her. The Ben York nothing bomb was a dud, but an ex-show girl from Vegas could be most interesting.
