The average temperature of a cat is 101. there is nothing like a cat on your lap to warm you up on a raw, misrable day.

My wife and I have two cats, a Torte which is bonded especially to my wife and a Bombay that is especially bonded to me. The Torte is Molly. The Bombay is Oscar. Oscar loves to cuddle with me and lay in my arms like an infant. He is very affection and very vocal. He is a heavy cat, not fat just muscle weight. I would not trade him for anything this world could offer.

Most cats put out a lot of body heat…. Opal should be warm in no time at all.

That works for as long as the cat’s satisfied with the lap.

They keep me warm.

This is my husband and I. He’s always cold, I am either fine or too hot. The cats usually gravitate towards me though.

I can’t get into my comics today. I reset my password and now I lost my favorites, including my very favorite, Pickles. I started a short new list. I can get the comments, but not the comic.

Hey! Dogs can do that too.

That is a rather large cat.

I have heard people talk about “putting on the dog” but I never heard of “putting on the cat”.

I’m surprised that Muffin even let Earl pick her up. My cats let me pick them up: my husband, very rarely.

Muffin looks a bit annoyed.

It reminds me of a “Sesame Street” moment in which a lady wanted a coat that was furry and blue. She ended up with Cookie Monster draped around her!
