And here we go – it’s starting as so many have predicted

by the looks of Leslie’s facial expression in the final panel, he’s linking Gunther’s plan and his own plan together (they’re BOTH seeing Tiffany)

Realization Dawns. ✨

Tiffany is now a player. Poor guys.

Tiff is a player as the guys fight over her.

If she had a date with Les, why would SHE be coming to pick HIM up, especially when she made a date with Gunther for six?

I donno, making a two dates with two guys at the same place within two hours of each other is pretty scummy

Actually, Les is taking this revelation rather well… at this point.

Gunther scared all Les’ facial hair off in the second panel. No worries, it’s back in the third panel.

Gunther said “guest” not “date”. Les said “Tiffany’s coming over”, not “date”. Whatever the boys might think, I don’t think Tiffany considers this dating. She most likely wants to vent about her family drama, and will be pleased that both men live in the same house and she can share with them simultaneously.

These two Nimrods are going to cancel each other out! They will end up being Tiff’s two best friends.

….And on top of all of that, Greg is slated to show up around 9 27! Perhaps to check the smoke detectors and such…

I doubt there was a “scummy” double booking on Tiffany’s part. She appreciated Gunther’s care during her recent setback. Likewise, I’m sure she felt glad that Les helped her in dealing with Ann Eiffel (albeit for his own added purpose). Tiffany is Tiffany, but she does seem to draw the line, somewhere.

And perhaps this is the ‘age old’ comedic setup for the situation of misunderstanding. Gunther may have one idea about why Tiffany agreed to have dinner with him. Maybe Les also is assuming Tiffany sees their appointment in the same way. It could even be the old “Platonic vs. Romantic” brand of misunderstanding. At any rate, whatever this is that is going on, we’ll soon find out.

Okay.

I gotta ask what Tiff’s REAL plan IS here? Was she:

1) Planning on having a quiet intimate dinner with Gunther then pretend to leave while Le$ gets rid of Gunther, only to return at 8? And then have (A-HEM) “dessert” with Le$?

OR

2) Planning on having dinner with both guys at 6 and staying over at 8 with both?

3) Or is she Playing BOTH guys and got the time and dates screwed up?

Frankly I think at think point in time, BOTH guys have been friend zoned. And don’t forget, Tiffany was coming STRONG to Jack a few weeks ago. I really don’t think she’s DONE with Jack yet…….,

Tiffany is taking the evening to let the guys down easy, one at a time. She’s going to inform them that either:

A. She’s dating Jack, who has more good qualities than both Gunther and Les have together, or

B. She has been seeing a nice young architect who wants to spend the rest of his life with her.

(Like Greg would ever give her a break)

Tiff isn’t dumb by any means (clueless at times) and she ‘talks’ a good story, but I really don’t think in reality that she is a ‘active’ type. A user, absolutely, so am really curious about what she has in mind for these guys.

So we are left to wonder if Tiff plans to spend the night with Les after eating Gunther’s dinner. The only thing Greg could do more cruelly is tomorrow switches to Shannon…

What kind of game is Tiffany playing at here? She could wind up in shunville with both these guys.

If nothing else, Tiffany has managed to avoid that huge commute between dates!

This will be so good to see! But very bad for Les and Gunther.

How does Tiffany not know she is going to the same place at eight that she is at six? The problem with not having landlines anymore.

Also, is she planning on eating two dinners? That may explain some things.

Wow. Tiffany’s an idiot. Did she think neither one of them would find out when she’s got to know they’re rooming together in the same house?

Gunther never says who the dinner guest will be. Les had independently talked to Tiffany. That leaves the OBVIOUS trope that someone else may be Gunther’s dinner guest. ROSA returns!!! Maybe

By the way if Rosa returns, before Tiffany comes back, and Les is still there or on his way out (not likely because he is waiting for Tiffany remember?) having Rosa back can make this even more complicated.

Favor neither one and encourage both… not necessarily a good plan.

She only thinks of them each as friends. She shares “parents” with Les so he’s even more like a brother. Tiffany may be shallow but she’s more clueless than scummy.

Plenty of her to go around.

Takes a lot to make me smile this early in the morning but this did it.

Les suddenly realised what sort of threesome Tiffany planned.

Well, whatever happens in the next 24 to 48 hours, the only clear “Winner” here will be Tiffany Farrell. She’s gone from being ignored by Guys in college, having two guys practically fighting over her. And two guys who would do practically ANYTHING for her. The big issue here, is what her intentions are for planning two “dates” at different times with guys that live in the SAME house. For the life of Me I cannot believe that Tiffany does not know that both Le$ and Gunther live in the same Gulag.

I would hate to think she was playing them, as she owes them quite a bit. (Gunther MORE than Le$, IMHO).

And I can’t help shake this feeling that Tiffany MAY have something to tell them and wants them both there. Remember, the Arc started with Le$ telling Pru about Tiffany’s “Ann Eiffel Problem.” There may be a new development on that front.

Oh, and on a POSITIVE Note, Gunther asked Tiffany to the Gulag FIRST!

Maybe Tiffany should arrive at 7 and she could come between them.

Petulant, temper-tantrumy Gunther appears ready and set to return with a vengeance. (sigh)

So, what is up with Tiffany here? Is she “clueless” to Gunther and Les both “liking” her? Or does she want them to squabble further and get all the more attention? Or is it neither of the above?

The two of them today, each are wearing their stereotypical “Odd Couple” costumes as well. Gunther is perfectly emulating Felix in his apron and Les is perfectly emulating Oscar with his underwear ensemble.

@Luann1212: Rosa returning is about as likely as me winning the Powerball lottery. I think it’s pretty clear that Tiffany promised to eat dinner with Gunther at 6, and then meet up with Les afterwards. She is not clueless; she is just self-absorbed…

I believe the term is “ménage a trois.”

Apparently Tiffany doesn’t know that Gunther and Les are roommates.

Tiffany may not know the two are sharing a bachelor pad. But! Bernice knew; she told Luann at their K2 lunch meet. Bern was also up on the latest with Tom Farrell and Ann; apparently from her association with Tiffany as dormitory TA.

So GnK are going to have to jump through some hoops to make us think Tiff doesn’t know what she’s doing.

Now that’s the old flirt Tiffany.

I don’t think Tiffany sees this as two dates, only one date and one meeting a friend. But which one is which?

Tiffany will walk in the door very soon and see Les in his undershirt eating chips.

Tiff’s gonna have two dinners? Better hope there’s enough Stove Top Stuffing!

G & K could drop a surprise bomb on us. Gunther is fixing dinner for the young woman that was selling discount coupons at Gunther’s furniture sale.Tiffany gets there at 8:00 and sees Les competing for the attention of Gunther’s dinner guest. Tiffany’s visit would last about 5 minutes…

Relax boys. There’s more than enough of Tiffany for the both of you these days.

As I recall, Gunther made it clear that he was not interested in Tiffany and told her that Bernice was is soul mate. They have been friends. Even in this light, Gunther does not like Les’ company. Gunther also does not believe that Les cares about Tiffany as a person.

Les had been so consumed in revenge that he missed Tiff’s signals and played the friend card when she wasn’t going to help with providing the list.

The boys are caught wanting to hang out rather than wanting a date.

I still say that Tiffany is too good for these two bums. Her looks, and all the makeup and clothes get her the gold ticket to trophy wife land.

Alright, the fault lies with Tiffany on this one.
