I don’t normally jump in on Sunday, but this weekend, Robert Conrad of Weekend Radio is airing a story by Stuart McLean about waitresses working for tips. Among other things, it includes unreasonable customers and unhinged cooks.

Ummm. Chocolate chip cookies made with brown butter, just out of the oven… Oh yeah!

A good dose of Vitamin CCC is all it takes to get through the day.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I like Prudence. And I also like chocolate chip cookies. Nestle Toll House cookies, but only during the holidays.

I like the “heart” in the aroma wisp. Grandma’s still sending love.

It’s also saying “Gonna burn ya fingers if you try while I’m still hot!”

I wonder what would be in Dez’ chocolate chip cookies? Even though it is Cinco de Mayo, that’s not cilantro…

The Problem with most chocolate chip cookie recipes is that they say Makes = 36, but the serving size is = 1.

Both recipes are a good method for feel better. And the second can be shared with friends♡. Luann and Pru interactions is always so good to see.

So the date with Dougie was depressing?

Now I have the urge to go make cookies.

Off topic, but what goes on with Delta? Missing her wit and wisdom. She may go to a different college, but her home is still near Luann’s

While I’m sure that Pru would enjoy the Lavender, and, etc. bath oils, I think she enjoys the Cookies more. (Guilt Free calories?) And, I would enjoy a relaxed female companion, who baked Chocolate Chip cookies from scratch!

My father-in-law has everything a man could want, so I found an incredibly tasty recipe for double chocolate BACON cookies, and baked him a batch for his birthday.

I am now the favorite daughter-in-law. :)

Mmmmm. My Grandma’s Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies!!!! Thin and crispy, and for holidays, she’d add pecans or walnuts!!! Perfect with milk, hot chocolate, tea or coffee!!! Ok…guess I need to fire up the oven today…

I just skip the aroma therapy bath and go straight for the cookies.

About time we had a Sunday strip that didn’t have Luann as the butt of the joke.

Luann is stressed out and depressed after meeting Doug yesterday.

You just can’t say no to chocolate chip cookies. that when in High school the cooks made some of the best bread pudding you will ever taste.

like a few others have noted, it’s great to see an uplifting Sunday strip instead of a classic (and rather old…) “Luann’s messy room” gag, or even Puddles…. it’s great to see Luann and Pru interacting around the house, and it’s great to show Luann doing some self care for her mental state!! I love it!

I agree with that idea. Use Sundays for special, one time stuff. “Visits” to the strip from Knute and Crystal, Rosa, Delta, even Quinn. Just stay away from Shannon or Frank and Nancy discussing Luann. I would like to see Frank and Nancy getting frisky when they think the coast is clear.
