Tiffany goes back home for a change of clothes and finds T.J. is there and has already burned down the mansion.

See what I mean about “amnesia?” It appears Tiffany learned nothing about “ proper dress when going into the wilderness” from 2015’s “Salamander Hunt.”

Tiffany’s idea of “roughing it” is staying at a Motel6 with the cable not working.

Reminds me of the teenage girls I’ve seen in Yosemite who dress as if they’re going shopping at the mall.

what is that thing on Tiffany’s hair (3rd panel)? Is it z growth, a brain slug? Or is someone throwinh weeds at her?

Guess Tiffany didn’t put the phrases “weeding” and "stress-free day in nature " together. Other wise she probably would’ve chose a different out fit to wear.

Maybe you guys should ask Tiffany first if it’s OK to use her kitchen.

I dislike gardening, I fail to see what is fun about it.

We had my morning family meeting about Luann and we agreed that Tiff needs to call the police so they can meet TJ and Dez when they try to trespass into the house. How they are trying to make paella is criminal.

Try wearing some garden boots or tennis shoes.

Dez has this way of getting people to commune with nature (as she tried with Luann and Bernice for the mountainside drive) even if it’s unnatural for the others. We’ll likely see this story continue into next week.

Tiffany has had this problem several times … I hope she goes to help Dez gardening even in the future. It could finally make her understand that there are occasions where some clothes and shoes, however beautiful, cannot be used and clothes, that are not beautiful but able to protect, are needed. The way Dez looks at her in the last panel it’s hilarious ♡.

Come on, she did some outdoorsy stuff with Gunther, used as a house servant by Anne, and she’s been washing dishes for whatever pittance the DeGroots pay. She should have some sense when it comes to doing actual work by this time.

In fact, I’d bet she’d enjoy gardening, once she started.

Geez, Tiff! I thought she learned how to dress for the situation after she and Gunther worked together on a class project. In fact…isn’t that the same outfit (minus the hat) from that arc?

And how does Dez keep her kneepads in place? I’ve tried about four different types and none of them will stay put for more than five minutes.

A vegetable garden is not ‘nature’.

And it was in the garden that Tiffany spotted herself a man not like any other she has seen before. A fun country boy, the opposite of the queen of the city. As they say, opposites attract … maybe Tiff will find romance in the garden.

Bad choice of clothing. Tiff looks like a big ear of corn in the field.

No comments about skinny versus more fulsome Tiff! Great, so tired of them. I think she really looks very cute and delectable in her sun dress, and heels, notwithstanding totally wrong for gardening. At least she is game to show up though. Her world needs expanding.

I have a very small garden, and I can’t keep up with the constant growth of weeds. I finally gave up around the end of August.

Tiffany is smarter than they think – showing up in the wrong clothes guarantees you don’t have to participate and you can go home early.

Evans needs to stop drawing girls in skirts until he figures out how to get the proportions right. Like when Bets cosplayed as Uhura, once again there’s not nearly enough space between the waist and knees. And once you see it, you can’t unsee it.

For future reference, Tiff could wear the heels during planting season and make little holes for the seeds.

Well when Tiffany starts wedding in that dress, the moon will come out!

One definition of stress is force divided by area. High heels have a small area, division by a small number makes a bigger number, more stress.

Take off your shoes and the area of the bottom of your feet will be bigger than the point of the heel of your shoes, stress will be reduced.

I guess this week must be the first time Dez has ever met Tiffany. If Dez knew T at all, she would know T does not like dirty work and Dez should have told her how to dress.

LOL I’m literally off for one of these days now…spreading 10 bags of sea soil, digging it in, and prepping beds for planting 68 spring bulbs!! Heaven!

Weeding and gardening is hard work. It is only “fun” if you enjoy that type of activity.

Take off your shoes, Tiff, we need to protect the earthworms.

Two comments:1. Who else is getting tired of having Tiff be this shallow comic relief by the Greg? I know she can be a bit dense at times, but she has grown quite a bit over the past two or three years.2. Is it me, or is Greg gradually slimming her down? Namely she’s returning to a slightly above weight version of her pre eating disorder self.

I’m so disappointed that G&K have resorted to this old trope. C’mon – anyone pls enough to wear high heels knows that “gardening” includes some measure of manual labor, and that high heels are not gardening shoes! They could have put Tiffany in clean white jeans and straps (flat) sandals and had an equally funny – and more believable – scenario. More importantly, it would not have been as insulting to both Tiffany and the readers as this scenario is.

She’ll learn with a little help.

I am really starting to feel sorry for Tiffany. Is there anything between her ears besides space??

Well, at least she showed up. And trying a new hairdo? It’s hard for me to imagine a 19 or 20 year old, who doesn’t know weeding and gardening isn’t a “dressy” occasion, but I guess there are. Wonder if Dez has extra jeans and boots.

Too bad the usually insightful Dez didn’t mention “Wear something you don’t mind getting dirty!” Since she has known Tif for some time now. But I agree..the whole premise of Tif as dumb bunny..I thought that horse had been ridden as far as it would go way back when. Now she’s just a stereotype of herself.

Dez is still creeping me out. Here it is the end of the season. Why wasn’t she looking up her friends during the first parts of the growing season. All of a sudden she shows up out of the blue with a garden and a way to insult Tiffany. I didn’t know they were enemies.

As a tree hugging gardener, I love this story arc…. <3

a bit reminiscent of the time Gunther and Tiff partnered for the biology field trip. Hopefully this time Tiff will eventually just take off her shoes, kneel down and get to work. If not she’ll be by herself.

Tiffany is not clear on the concept of Weeding. Her short sundress and heels are not appropriate to the dirty business.

Why must this strip always pick on Tiffany? Ever since the awful Eiffel advent, Tiffany has become the butt of the strip. “’Tain’t funny, McGee.”

Now, Tiffany… Think of it as soaking your feet in a huge mud pool. Mud can do wonders for the skin.

Tiff was probably thinking of a different kind of “weed”.

First time I’ve ever heard weeding being defined as a “stress-free, fun day in nature.” Girl’s got a future in politics.

I like Dez’s professional gardening knee pads.

I think tomorrow Dez will tell Tiff to just take off her shoes. That way the heels won’t sink.
