well, Happy Valentine’s Day to one and all

Puddles gives the most love. The blue space alien with the empty bowl gives the least love.

I see that a number of these character give love to food, like TJ, Shannon, and Puddles. With Frank and Nancy, I can’t tell if they love popcorn or each other.

Love comes in many forms and we, the fans, love this comic. Happy Valentine’s Day, all!

We are so not done with Luann! She’s totally ready to get a life. But maybe she needs to get kicked out of the nest. Not sure how that would happen – as Luann has very loving parents. I’m kinda hoping Tara will enrich this badly needed plot.

Love the idea of love…especially Luann and Puddles!

So that TJ thing is actually pretty sad. I love my entertainment center but it’s no substitute for an actual Valentine’s Day companion.

Presumably “happies” for all the depicted cast members. Like!

Sure wish we caught a glimpse of Gunther and Bets. (Hope that doesn’t go with Mordy’s prediction the other day)

So Brad and Toni are celebrating Valentine’s day like young lovers, Nancy and Frank like mature lovers, Shannon loves her fudgsicle, TJ his cooking, Pud, what treat Luann gave him, and, Tiffany…, well unless there’s a surprise in a panel we don’t see, looks like she loves who she sees in the mirror.

I’d be Luann in this scenario; been very happily by myself (NEVER lonely) for 27 yrs now (I’m 61) and yup, I have a Yorkie I rescued 7 mos ago and 2 cats I got stuck with as kittens 5 yrs ago; who could ever be lonely with a pet or two?

Projection on Valentine’s Day, TJ being a eunuch (how can you tell, that requires an admission, or an inspection, hmmm…eunuch inspector? Or that Nancy and Frank are implied not to “do it” anymore, being incapable. Au Contraire they have so much love for each other, it’s beautiful, and I prefer to think this shows that love is abiding, and they can do it, but life together each and every day in commitment to each other is “doing it” too. Young couple Brad and Toni naked in bed, such beauty!! TJ loves cooking, it’s his purpose in life. Being manager and chef at the Fuse is enormously satisfying to his character, and I think GnK have other story lines in the offing connected to this love. I wish Gunther and Bets were in this, just as I wish Bernice (whom I have always liked, she has such potential) to finally find a real love, Jack would be nice and I think he is being drawn with that in mind, hilarity ensuing of course. This is a beautiful exposition, so Happy Valentine’s Day to all, trolls included. We need to learn to love our trolls. -:)

The ONLY Unmarried Young Adult Couple currently dating in the VAST Luanniverse and they were completely left out of this year’s Valentine’s Strip!

Not to mention that they were seldom seen much of last year without getting into an argument.

Very funny that TJ may always love his cuisine more than any people. And even funnier that Tiffany may love her own kisser more than anybody else. But not so funny that Luann’s life might continue in her parents’ home with Puddles. Luann and Tara may help each other to grow up – Tara being adventurous and Luann being responsible. Kind of like Gunther and Les had some influence on each other – which was Al’s idea.

Luann and I have that in common. We both have our doggie valentines, this year. Elly Mae is a friend’s dog. The friend now has nowhere to keep her, so she stays with me. For today, Elly, a pit bull mix, is staying in to keep out of the cold rain. Now, she’s looking for food. Oops. I forgot about the broiling lamb. See you later, alligator.

I have read all the commentary posted and I find this strip very interesting. The best thing I can add to the discussion is I’ll be very interested to see this strip around November 14, 2021, give or take a couple of days either way.

This is the first Valentine’s Day without my dad, who was born on this day. We have no idea how to celebrate it.

Looks like Tiffany has treated herself to a complete new line of that trendy makeup Steffi Bird recommended.
