Count to three and cover your eyes with your hands.

Tell them you cannot see them anymore.

Is it just me or is T.J. starting to look like Michael Jackson from the 1980’s ?

TJ’s “magic” trick is the kind of tomfoolery that adults do to surprise, amaze, delight kids who are easy to fool, but leave it to Shannon to feel something is rotten in Denmark here with those cards. It’s a nice, sweet break from all the tensions and drama of the main characters with their interlocking stories and it keeps the traits of Shannon with her disbelief in adults sometimes and TJ with his mischief side intact. Hilarity ensues!

I thought this misdirection was very amusing.

Smiley is good with kids, any chance G & K give him a bigger role in the strip where he is not just on the edge of the action? Readers all know that Brad used to be a bit wary of him after the food truck blew up and TJ certainly held his own against the evil Ann Eifel. I’d like to see more of the entrepreneur. Perhaps he teams up with Tiff to make her dream business happen after Tiff deals with Gunnie and Bets after Les “honestly” let her know her A came at a price…….

Magicians ONLY lie. What you get to see is the distraction.

I had to read this strip twice before I got joke. Oh no, I’m as dense as a 5 year old!

I love how TJ spends time entertaining Shannon.

It would have been funnier if he’d done this trick with Luann.

TJ seems to the the only one who comes out ahead when dealing with Shannon.

Toni getting together with Brad was the best thing that ever happened to Jonah. Look at all those new people to babysit his kid for him!

I like the TJ character. He seems to be the only one who really “gets” Shannon. Either that or he just likes having someone he can mess with!

OMG! The Merry Prankster has put one over on Snarky Shannon! Though it surprises me, TJ may be smarter than a six-year-old….
