Posting a vlog of people moving and storing boxes doesn’t seem like a lot of “wow” to me. It wouldn’t “influence” me to do much other than click on something else. But on the other hand, I’ve seen some of the mundane / inane things that get millions of views on Tik Tok, so what do I know?

Tiff, if you decide to become an influencer, please, please, put Bets out of business. She is annoying, dismissive and manipulative. Take her fans. Make Bets appear boring in comparison to you.

I think Tiffany is better than that. Maybe she won’t post just to talk about herself and she would post good content on how to organize events, parties and dates in the most elegant, glamorous and romantic way possible. Like the romantic dinner for two she had made for Gunther and Bets. But who knows if she will be successful or not? Becoming Bets’ partner would still be better.

Hey, I’ve been thinking about establishing an online presence myself and see if I can scarf down some extra change…yeah as if {lol}. This set of panels made me guffaw, this was a gag set of frames with witty script, beautiful young women (you did it guy’s!! mentioned "saucy young women of color nerding out with her hot bf (Gun{ther!!} then the last panel was beautifully drawn, almost bounced off the page, oh! and dare I say it? This strip/story arc has me forgetting how much I hate Stef. These two are insufferable. Especially Bets.

Just when Tiff has finally started to come down to earth, the last thing she needs is a return of her former shallow, narcissistic self. I’m not a fan of Bets. Nothing altruistic about her in the least. Everything with her comes at a price.

the persona has to be something realizable or else it won’t work. Bets has something. Right now Tiff doesn’t. Unfortunately whenever a camera is in her face there’s a return to that previous narcissistic self; the glamorous rich girl is not realizable to the average person. What Tiff could do is to go back to that low moment when she was eating her way through depression, talk about how it changed her and how she overcame it. I think that is something a lot of girls and women might relate to. She could get a big following out of that but it isn’t likely what she wants.

A “Glam Goddess”? Maybe after a day at the spa. But at this moment? Bets is right, not so much

If I were Tiffany I think I still would have tried to get in touch with the family friend, the head of Souffle lingerie and seen if she had a paid summer internship in Paris. When I think of all the business contacts her father has (and people Tiffany has probably met) I’m surprised she never took advantage of any of them for a summer job (which again would probably earn more than Bets is boasting about).

Weird. The way Bets refers to her public persona makes it sound like she knows the difference between a private life and a public “persona”, but she can’t seem to respect Tiff’s request to keep the two separate. That’s just disrespectful.

What actually caught my eye was the “woman of color” part. Clearly she is, but I remember the controversy when they first introduced her and a few days in it looked like she was drawn with a lighter shade of brown and eventually was drawn back in later strips the way she looks now.

I’m sorry, but I don’t get this whole “influencer” thing. Do they just post stupid stuff/pictures and other sheeple like that picture, or what? Dosen’t make any sense at all to me.

I didn’t want to say this but I am: too many commentators I enjoy are engaging in uncalled for personally based criticism of the only character of color here, Bets. I mean as a 75 year old African-American male I know racism when I see it, even if the person themselves doesn’t see it. Being from a White perspective sometimes that is hard, although I know quite a few Black people who are also, and color based hate is not confined only to our great, growing country. I want to enjoy Luannverse with as little of this as possible with people I enjoy conversing with. Please think carefully about that if it might apply to you. I mean from my perspective it’s hard to truly explain , but it needs to be. Now please don’t do any outraged or other responses to me, I say this out of love and hope that people examine their underlying motives. Talk about Bets all you want, but is it story related or race related? Love out.
