Well someone is going to get an eyeful of Kip and it isn’t Luann Tiffany!

Bets does seem to be High Maintenance. It’s time to move on, maybe seek some understanding and sympathy from the only girl in Pitt who’s had boyfriends — Luann!

The rift deepens. Nobody is showing the love. Sounds like Bets last comment paints Gunther as a fall-back guy. An I thinks his comment shows that he feels like a fall guy!

We may be in for a stormy summer!

Now we know why the manse got broken into – stupid girls telling the planet of their every move and what they are doing and why. Hasn’t it occurred to Bets or Gunther that it’s quite possible someone in their families might hear of her constant feed and discover that she is living there after all?

Manse! Manse! Manse! (As I’ve suggested every day this week.)

Tomorrow, will we see Bets sprint from the guest house/gulag just in time to …

1) … run into Irma?

2) … run into Al?

3) … run into Mr. Beasley?

4) … arrive at the Farrell mansion and discover Tiff and Kip less than 45 yards apart from each other?

5) … ?

So is Bets running from Gunther – or from herself?

So she’s a plain old user. Wonder how long it will take Gunther to admit it.

Okay, you two have had your private little orgy, and now it’s time to move on.

Can’t blame Bets here. She’s got Cabin Fever, but still wants to be with Gunther because the alternatives suck rotten eggs. She and Tiff are friends, but not close enough to be even temporary roomies. Her family….yeah, let’s not go there. And considering all the drama Steff brings to the table, I’d be ok with playing secret agent too.

Confrontation time approaches, hints are clear. All the issues here are about to come to a sudden head here I think. Always aware of the misdirection play, but think this where this is headed.

Nope. Not even close to the end of the ‘Rents Rebellion. Bets ain’t giving up – just taking a break. So what will Gunther do?

Betsy is quite the user.

So Gunther tells her she could move in with Tiffany,(a very mild ‘go away’ )and then gets insulted that he’s her preferred hangout?

Kip is in the pool. After Bets sets up the phone for a live broadcast, she jumps off the diving board. Climbs out of the pool. Only then, she notices that just one half of her swimsuit remains attached.

One thing people seem to forget: Bets changed “Gunther” to “Gun”. By a cool girl viewing him as a hunk, he developed some self-esteem and began seeing himself differently. (Note: I didn’t use the word “assertive”.) I’ve seen it so many times: a boy everyone overlooked becomes desirable once one really attractive girl throws herself at him.

Bets needs a break and immediately thinks of Tiffany. Or rather, of the swimming pool at Tiffany’s house… I was hoping she enjoyed being with her last summer, but it seems she wants to totally avoid repeating the experience. Poor Tiffany! I wonder how she will react seeing Kip. If she will think he and Tiffany have a secret affair or she will see that she’s spending her time locked in her room spying on him from the window. I hope Gunther goes to the manse with Bets too and sees what’s happening to his dear friend Tiffany, but it seems like the only one going out is Bets.

Gee Bets. Shacking up with Gunther was YOUR “idea.”

She has no one to blame but herself.

Now. Let’s see:

Bets goes to the manse and falls for Kip? Or Kip falls for her?

Of course, the usual suspects will say it’s Gunther’s “fault.” (As usual)

But at this point? After all the CRAP Bets has put him through over the years, and after the initial pain of break-up, Gunther would be much better off. (Sorry, #1) And there’s always the slim chance that G&K would finally pair Gunny up with someone who isn’t a a pushy, domineering person this time around. Maybe it’ll be Tiffany at long last. (Though I’m not holding My breath on that one)One plus-point about a possible Kip-Bets Match-up: Stef is still Bets’ roommate.So there’ll be highly entertaining bloodshed.

At any rate, I think it’s a safe bet that Bets and Tiffany are about to have a serious woman to woman talk.

It’ll interesting to see where they lay the “blame” next week…….,

Looks like they’re trying to set up a Bets and Kip accidental meeting at Tiff’s pool.

Gunther needs to lose Bets. She’s a user and only seems to care about herself. Her family must know she’s a piece of work, and that’s why she doesn’t get along with them.

Tomorrow, Bets finds Kip in Tiffany’s pool skinny dipping. Next week, both Tiffany and Stef are furious!

And that’s when Gunther realized Bets was only using him in order to snag a summer living situation she liked. The question is how long he’ll let himself be used.

There are so many red flags on this couple!

She has a point. But so does he.

Selfish, manipulative, foolish. Look up those words in the dictionary and you’ll see Bets’ picture by all of them.

Bets would not be caught dead staying in Casa Farrell but she certainly will take advantage of all the amenities it offers. I wonder if that will include Kip and will she end up posting something on her vlog that will get her and Gunther busted or get Stef running back to town concerning Tiff and Kip both being a bit too close for her liking…..

Anyhow Bets using the pool is kind of hypocritical is it not, especially after telling Gunther she really, really did not want to stay in the mansion. Gunther probably is just figuring out that Bets choosing to stay with him was simply a better option than the dorm, her family and Casa Tiff; kind of like staying with Gun is merely the least worst option of the 4 choices. Kind of lame Bets!

Doesn’t care for Tiffany, but likes the luxuries the Manse can provide. Oh, and you, too Gun, of course. All the while making eye contact with the device. Tiffany could get snide and ask Bets, “what r doin’ here?”

I expect that Bets will sprint from the front door right into the disapproving stares of Irma and Al. And then it will be off to another storyline on Monday.

I bet Al is parked by Bets’ car, waiting for her to appear.

By the look on Gunther’s face in the last panel, I’d say trouble’s a-brewin’!

Okay, at this point I’m beginning to think Bets having an ugly personality is an intentional choice. She’s not looking like a nice person here. I mean, I’m no fan of Gunther being so wimpy but ignoring him while he’s talking so she can livestream with a bunch of followers/fans is pretty vapid and tacky. Not to mention referring to Tiffany and “the dorm wackos” as people she’d hate to willingly stick around… yeah not a nice look. And what if Tiffany and Dez see this? Bets really isn’t considerate. Plus she said that the fact that everyone else is a worse option than Gunth… well that was kind of funny, but also pretty mean. Do her fans like this bad vibe she gives off, openly livestreaming distain on her friends while showing she is just using them?

Okay, so we have Bets recording her vlog for her platform or perhaps she is streaming live and we have Gunther wearing a pair of binoculars and peaking through the window like some sort of voyeur or a government agent with the CIA or FBI conducting surveillance. This is most certainly not a normal relationship and the dynamics are bat dung crazy. Oh, and Gunther, why aren’t you going to Casa Tiff with Bets? Passing up a day at the mansion to make an appearance without Bets for Irma’s and Al’s benefit? Man, its time for the kids to drop the secrecy and just go out and have some fun!

Maybe Gun and Bets could both move in with Tiffany.

(What does he do to earn money to cover his half of the expenses for his and Les’s place? Al provided them with a place to live, charges them less than market rent, but don’t they have to pay for everything else?)

The couple of Betts and Gunther doesn’t make sense.

What happens tomorrow could set the stage for Gun and Bets future. If she encounters Irma on the way out, then what? If she stays, will she and Gun face their summer ennui? Gunther’s character has over commitment problems with females; starting with Irma, then Luann and Rosa, and now, Bets. What will he do after that panel 3 sarcasm?

(Gunther doesn’t get invited to go swimming because he burns so easily). I’m surprised Bets didn’t seem to hear him seriously suggesting she move in with Tiffany. He’s ready for Bets to go. It looks like he has the same problem he had before – it’s just a different girl. At least this time he has an easy fix – all he has to do is arrange for Al and Irma to be visiting when Bets returns.

I would like to see Bets arrive at the manse, let herself in with her key from last summer, and find Tiffany and Kip embracing. Or….

Bets got a text from Kip to come see him at the manse.

Oops! A moment of candor from both of them. This could signal the end or at least the beginning of the end.

This is a loaded strip. Bets’ going to Tiffany’s uninvited. Her motive to bunk with Gunther now seems more like a drive for adventure and daring than romantics. And it seems that’s what Gunther is understanding. I wonder if she included the last two frames in her video. Many of her fans might think this is breakup material.Does she profess her love next? Or invite him along to Tiff’s? Maybe another go in the Pagoda of Peace. Tiff and Gunther have helped each other in the past.

Bets is headed to Tiffany’s and live-streaming the whole time. Didn’t that cause some problems last year? Does she have memory loss issues?

Gunther, I think it’s time to part ways with Bets.

I see a “Three’s Company-esque” story coming. Bets goes to the Manse, sees Kip and Tiff being totally innocent. But she will put it on her social media as something naughty. Gunther and Stef see it and hilarity ensues

This almost reminds me of the time she drove off leaving Gun in a parking lot. Since Bets was introduced, it is clear that she acts and speaks without prior thinking. I don’t think her feelings about Gun are any less; she just doesn’t consider the effect of her words. She feels claustrophobic, has cabin fever and right now just wants out; she’s only thinking about #1.

Yes! Bring back Rosa Aragones! And I’d love to meet her uncle Sergio.

Good for Gunther! I don’t remember laughing this hard at a Luann entry

Bets reminds me of a family member who has ADHD who has difficulties separating her feelings and thoughts from other people’s and who gets revved up and hyper focused about an idea forgetting the other people involved. When reality catches up and they’re ready to move on to the next project they can be insensitive. It doesn’t mean she’s unkind or unloving.

Bets is AT LEAST as self-absorbed as Tiff. Possibly more so.

Nice to know Gunther beat out all the heavy competition.

I like Bets because she’s smart and self-assured, but her narcissism is perplexing and disconcerting. Her statement that living with Gunther is the best of 4 unpleasant choices was insensitive and actually unkind. I remember when Gunther was infatuated with Luann, but I don’t think that will ever be reignited. I hope G&K doesn’t write off Bets, but could there be a new character showing up this summer who would be attracted to Gun?

I am becoming less and less enamored of Bets.

I still don’t understand how, if they want to live together, they don’t just get part time jobs and rent a small apartment. People did that at my college all the time. But, I think Gunther’s mom is not going to approve of this arrangement wherever they live.

It’s past time to change the locks on this place.

If they do break up I hope Gunther and Luann will rekindle their friendship. I was most disappointed that it became a casualty after Bets became his GF.

previously Bets said that she was shacking up with the man she loved; now she refers to the living situation as the best of 4 options. It is not clear if her relationship with Gun is the best out of 4 or if it is the Gulag situation. I’m glad Gun is giving a heads up on the crudeness of her comment but i’m not sure if the former is what she meant. Bets doesn’t exactly have a way with words.

Geez, what a bomb out my prediction for yesterday was…
