That kid would be cleaning up anything that did not involve electricity, sharps, or biohazard. And when we were done discussing why it is bad to break things in the house – she had better be remorseful.

See, back in my day, if I ended up doing something like this, my parents would’ve busted my @$$ with a belt and grounded me for an indetermined period of time . . . but God forbid we discipline children in this day age, because it’s “child abuse.” And people wonder why children are so unruly, ill-behaved, ill-mannered, and have no respect for anything these days.

It’s been a while since we saw the destructive Shannon. sigh I wasa hoping that we had seen the last of the Destructoress.

My Sunday just got ruined .

Kids: Older: same behavior. Larger: same behavior. Resulting damage: more often, more expensive.

Funny, all the people midweek who wished they’d do a Shannon day instead seem to have disappeared.

Well.. Now Toni is going to want to wait til she’s in her 40’s to have a child. ;)

Spectacular chain reaction! I’m happy they decided to have Shannon learn a martial art. Over time she will learn to keep her destructive potential under control and only use it when she really wants to. But I have the impression that Wrestling would have been more suitable for her instead of Karate.

This kid is as noxious as a Progressive Insurance commercial.

I like Shannon, and I’m proud to say it. I’m sure all of you Shannon-bashers were charming, perfect children, raised by charming perfect former children.

Everyone in here screaming for Shannon to be beaten like they were as kids…wow! Just wow. you know you can start therapy at any age, right?

White belt, just a beginner. Both my parents had black belts, 7th dan. Got turfed out of a couple apartments due to “practicing”. That happened before us kids came along.They found something to do that was better than judo. lol

Not that good, kid… nothing’s broken.

Does Shannon’s white belt come with insurance against the damages she causes by practicing in her Aunt Toni’s living room?

When our son was taking taekwondo, and learning staff routines, the instructors told the class to practice outside – away from the house, windows, cars, trees, bushes, pets, etc.Pretty much for this reason.It was always impressive watching 50 people doing routines during black belt tests – the whole room had to be synchronized because anyone who wasn’t doing exactly what the rest of the class was doing was sure to get whacked.There was no room for errors.

That is actually pretty good… all that chaos with an economy of movement. Quite a talented little girl.

Well, she’s not burning the furniture. BTW, why isn’t she in foster care? Her father abandoned her.

Shannon has MIA dad and Aunt that would do anything for her.She used to be funny Now she just annoying Now some of us feel sorry others hate or dislike her.

And there is is Shannon did not do all that on purpose, but because she did not fall into the fetal position crying out for forgiveness she is evil. Screw that crap. Yes, make her clean it up, but without anger, IT WAS AN ACCIDENT, D A M M I T.

An accident by an exuberant young person and part of her martial arts training will be taking responsibility and cleaning up the mess. It’s good they are getting her into some things that will help use up the excess energy she seems to have.

Brad and Toni have been replaced in Greg’s lineup by a whole bunch of ineffective characters all looking for a life raft on this sinking ship.
