I get the feeling that tomorrow’s strip will have Danae asking her Dad about why then Peace through Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD!) has been a serious policy option for governments around the world for so long.

Opposites attract.

Harmony is the opposite of cacophony. Agreement is the opposite of dissension.

Those kinds of contradictions are no bother whatsoever to Republicans.

I tried to start a Progressive Conservatives Party but everybody hated me.

I’ve never noticed that antithetical slogans ever slowed down an ultraconservative organization.

When do we let that stop us from getting what we want?

But the contradiction that Danae used makes her organization perfect for an age of Doublespeak!

Come on…we ALL know that a cause doesn’t have to make sense nowadays…if you can rouse enough of the rabble, you’re good!

Dear Wiley; I gotta question on this strip’s creation… when you drew the 4th panel the first time, did you turn the drawing up-side down, so as to make Danae’s cast off placard easier to have the lettering neat and legible ? Or was that a cut & paste job? No artistic slur meant, just curious.

That doesn’t stop some people.

Not the worst cause I’ve seen. Most people will just say, “Ooooo, big words. Tell us what they mean oh chosen one!” Danae fills in the blanks in their mind and either becomes a new “Mother God” or a Congressional roadblock.

What? Like it couldn’t join all the other meaningful oxymoronic phrases and causes with names that don’t represent what they’re all about?
