I think a lot of folks are realizing that Luann is seeing this for what it really is.

This story line is already getting tedious.

This is so accurate for this generation. Instead of doing something productive, like getting a JOB, proving your worth and earning a reputation (or as they’re calling it, a “brand”) just create the illusion of one (well, more like delusion), then pat themselves on the back, expect everyone else to buy into that delusion, and demand a trophy.

Huh. Maybe Luann isn’t so dumb after all.

A couple of influencers? This story arc is so lame, it’s influencing me to stop reading the strip!

I knew a guy who was a clerk at a retail store, barely scraping by, and his goal was to become a Life Coach.

Luann should turn down this deal and instead make her own brand. Maybe make a comic strip about her whole life. That’ll draw the crowds.

This promises to be an initial success.

Whether it will be a success in any other respect is another matter.

Luann is really the perfect Beta Test, she doesn’t have any problem telling them what she thinks, but she does it by smiling and responding ironically to the enthusiastic Bets and Tiffany and their massive use of weird acronyms. This project probably won’t be successful, but it could unite the three. I hope this leads to Luann spending more time with Tiffany and Bets and less with Bernice.

For a series of letters to be considered an acronym it has to be pronounced as a word:NATO, NASA, AIDS, PIN, RAM. If it is spoken letter by letter such as N A C Q it is an initialism.
