BLAAAAA.. With Shannon’s limited vocabulary, I doubt a literary blockbuster is in the works.

Now if Monstro wrote a book.. it would be an International Best Seller for sure! ;)

And here we are with the mid-week twist. Shannon will become a better writer than Luann adding to Luann’s misery and self-doubt.

Oh, this oughta be good. . . .

If you write a story yourself, it will feel less like work.

Hey I know what will happen next. Luann finds out her niece in law writes better stories than she does.

The kid’s partly right. Children should use their imagination. I don’t like the mindless pablum showered on children today.

Bernice I think you got played by a little kid. This oughta be good.

I know that I am an exception, but I like Shannon. I don’t think she can sit still long enough to write a story, let alone a book, but she can think up good stories.

A Shannon AND Bernice storyline. That’s actually interesting? What world is this?

What we have here is a real challenge for Bernice-the-muse. But can she recognize it?

Mistake #1: Giving the kid “ideas.”

The way this is going, Shannon will either:

A) NEVER want to be around Bernice again.

B) Perform a Ginger Banker style “drum solo” on that steel pot Bern is wearing as a “helmet.”

C) ALL of the above. ;-)

How about a panel where Shannon is inside the Death Star when it blows?

Shannon is actually presenting logical counterpoints here. We simply see the differences in personalities.

OK, so apparently the whole thing with Luann and Mrs. Horner didn’t actually result in any meaningful change since she’s still taking a bunch of random classes next year with no direction and has no interest in doing anything medical. So what was the point of that whole storyline again?

I like that Bernice has steered Shannon into wanting to write a book. Writing a book may get Shannon interested in reading a book and that’s a good thing.

Shannon sounds very ambitious for a girl her age.

They keep Bernice as boring as ever.

I think Bernice just tricked Shannon into some more…quieter activity.

Bernice is surprisingly good at talking to Shannon. They decorated Christmas cookies together in the past and looked like they had fun. Writing a book together could be a way to connect and make Bernice a better person. Someone capable of helping others and inspiring them… Nil was right in asking her to be his muse! In the past Shannon loved reading books alone, but this was shortly after she met Brad, when she was alone at least for some hours every day, without anyone to play with and angry.

Now we’re getting somewhere! I’m looking forward to a blockbuster.

people complain that Bern is boring; well she’s wearing a cooking pot on her head and helping Shannon (whom people also complain about) to become more productive and less destructive. Maybe these two will come together in a positive way.

So what’s the over/under on us ever finding out why Mrs. Horner collapsed?

And to those who say it was just a plot device to show how good Luann is at managing medical emergencies, need I remind you that she immediately dismissed the possibility of going into medicine, thereby rendering the whole thing moot? What a fun 9-week story that was, where nothing was resolved and nothing new revealed.

I think Bernice and Shannon are on to something here.

Kanye Pest hates books so much when he wrote his autobiography, it was only 50something pages long. Which is weird, because knowing him when he gets to talking about himself, you’d think any book he’d write about himself would literally be a never-ending story.

Be careful what you wish for Bernice.

I am stunned, yet pleased. I haven’t read any critiques on GnK’s competency in the Comic Strip Arts today. But the day is young.
