Trump will be a no-show.

He knows he will get mauled by Biden.

tRump can’t begin to compete with President Biden. Joe will be able to talk about real accomplishments to better our country and the world. All tRump can do is try to belittle people as being unworthy, complain about being “picked on” by the legal system and the Democrats and, of course fart repeatedly.

Why torture the shark?

With all the rules it is not going to be a real debate. The last one I watched was the VP debate when Benson scolded Quayle. Most people have already made up their minds. There is nothing Biden or Trump could say that would make me vote for either of them because I am one of the 25% that doesn’t like either of them

Debates need to be moderated by the League of Women voters again. Or some other independent organization. Maybe AARP?

The diapered one’s former White House physician, Ronny Jackson “Johnson”, has given away the game plan for Von Schitzenpants in the first debate, by claiming Biden would be using Adderall and Provigil during it. Since every accusation is a confession, he has revealed the drug “cocktail” the day-one dictator will be administered before his rantings and ramblings begin.

That whole shark vs electrocution thing was more incoherent and weird than anything Biden has ever said.

I’d put the odds that trump comes up with BS excuse to ditch the debate at 20-1 in favor. And he’ll blame Biden for it.

Both candidates have much to lose in this debate. Think of all of the memes, edited postings and ignoring the substance to come!!!

Here’s another take: If Joe does really poorly in the debate and demonstrates inability to win, or to do the job if he wins election, he has the option of dropping out and surrendering the nomination to someone else. Probably Newsome. But Trump has no such option. No matter how lousy he might present himself, is ego will never allow him to drop out and his cult followers will never admit he should.

Can’t have both?

With Biden divorcing his basement strategy of ’20, and coming out in a forceful tone, Dump may indeed be considering bowing out of this first debate. Dropping out at the last minute, Dump might surmise, will throw off his game. But, Biden has plenty of other things to occupy his time and has a good share of comebacks to El Dumpo.

Trump has rolled out a 3-pronged strategy for the debate:

1 – Lie about the format and rules (see Pirro’s rant about the candidates being seated, after CNN had confirmed that they would be standing)

2 – Complain that the rules, that Trump had agreed to, were unfair.

3 – Pre-load excuses, by suggesting that if (when?) Trump loses, it was on purpose.

Trump needn’t worry about sharks as he’s so repulsive that even they would find him to be repellent. Hmmmm…

It is going to be a $#!t$#0w no matter what. trump is going to be flapping his mouth about nothing and Biden is not going to take it and will tell him to shut up, the arguments will start and we have to be subject to it. Hoping that Carville and others are right with predicting trump won’t show and we won;t have to be subjected to it

Trump has no policies to tout. Nothing. For those thinking about voting for Donald, if elected, he would spend all his time seeking revenge and consolidating Presidential power. He will have no time to even think about his supporters.

There’s another option : He should quit and allow our Country to continue to heal.

tRump might find an excuse to cancel the debate. Hannity and others are clamoring against it.

Not having the option to scream or talk over his opponent will rattle and frustrate him to no end. Loving it, if he shows.

If Trump is not reelected, federal justices may not continue to impede trial proceedings against him.

Trump is in the same position as his fellow authoritarian RWNJ, Bibi Netanyahu. The clock starts ticking for commencement of trials for criminal charges the instant it becomes impossible for either of them to be able to wield Executive Office power, and other office holders who actually loathe them (finally) no longer have to fear hostile reprisals for carrying out the duties their offices supposedly demand of them at all times.

If Trump is not elected this November, a couple hundred scared $h*tlessly silent Republican Congressional rabbits will suddenly be front and center, loudly demanding he stand trial for his many malfeasances.

Why limit yourself to one when you can have both!

I ain’t watching. Nothing Trump can say or do will change my mind. My only problem is I have to vote for Biden which not a positive choice.

Trump will bail and use his “bone spurs” excuse. It got him out of a war didn’t it?

Only the shared hatred of anyone not a maga or a trumper feeds DJT’s energy. He’ll deflate like an old balloon.

IF Trump shows up I fully expect him to object to being muted and storm off and end the debate crying CNN has been unfair. And I’m guessing it may very well be a scripted plan. The MAGATS would go wild(er).

Debates don’t do anything anymore. We should just stop having them altogether. There aren’t enough fence-sitters to convince, and the questions are never substantive.

Actually trump might be safe from a shark if the EV battery messes up the sharks ability to find prey. Mind it’s doubtful trump can swim so the crabs would get him in the end anyway.

You watch — the liar in chief is going to claim the rules of the debate are UNFAIR, and he’ll refuse to show up! He is always the victim. He wanted to testify, but having to do it under oath was unfair. Instead, he wanted to just spew lies, as always.

I’m 80. I teach “intro to pickleball” 3 days a week. The lessons are 90 minutes long. The last thing I do before leaving the house for each of them is use the bathroom. I hope Joe does the same before taking the stage. Wouldn’t bother me in the least if that was something that slipped Disaster Pumpkin’s so-called mind.

I’m looking forward to the debate although probably not enough to watch it. Biden is good at stooping to Trump’s level. Biden is actually reasonably clever. I remember how he was with Palin.

He’s not going to debate Biden. The only question remaining is which bogus excuse he’ll use to back out.

This guy thinks Biden is a threat on the debate stage. Wow, that’s new.

This should go about the way of the Hindenburg disaster given the fact that the Orange Fuhrer’s dementia is freaking out anyone who meets him for more than 5 minutes. In an ideal world, everyone would watch in abject horror as he spews nothing but lies and derangement and pledge to vote for Biden. Alas, we live in this world where half the country will vote for Satan himself as long as there was an R after its name. They’re that brainwashed.

Of course he will dump the debate. We know this because he agreed to all of the rules, and he already had planned to be a no show.

I watched Biden talk about In Vetro Fertilization, no way trump could even say those words correctly let alone explain the specifics of that subject.

Take a shot every time that Biden stumbles over a word or forgets someone’s name. Bonus, if he talks about what his handlers allow him to say.
