Not strictly true. Hidiousness and distance begin to corelate only after a certain age.

As a matter of fact sweetie, the further away you are the better you look.

I do wish people taking selfies would realize 90% of them need to hold the camera much further away from their faces. And these sports shows where they’re filming themselves from home make me crazy with how close they think they have to be to the phone. Nose hair is not a beautiful thing.

I wear a wide- brimed hat while walking (to keep face/ neck from getting sunburned.) Makes me look 10 years older. Cooler weather can’t come soon enough.

I recall when HDTV was first coming out that a lot of the local anchorcritters were worried about looking awful in hi-def. I guess they got over it…maybe they are using some sort of filter to soften the hi-def, or they just found out that nobody really cares…
