Same with the people who know everything about parenting. They have no kids.

I’m about 35 years in, and still happily married. I may not know everything, but I know enough to keep the candle burning.

Along with the folks who think they know everything about marriage are the folks who think they know everything about what other people know.

Indeed. These men don’t know about marriage—there are only two women in this strip and neither of them married either of these guys or any of the other guys!

Jesus is the husband of the Church, bought with His blood and fed with His body. He knows everything about marriage because He created it.

Steve Harvey on marriage: It’s 70/30, you’re the 30. A friend of mine said the same thing too but he clarified it better – sometimes you’re 30 % other times you’re 70 %. She too needs to know that.

That is profoundly untrue. Married to the same woman since 1977 and wouldn’t have it any other way.

I was married for almost 23 years, he left me 3 weeks before our 23rd and if we would have stayed married April 2025 would have been our28th) and I have been single for almost 5 years and I admit I never knew all there was to know about marriage, you never do because people and things change daily and you have to learn as you go, unfortunetly all her learned was to be a jerk to me and my disabled sister and verbally and emotionally abused both of us and let his toxic mother influence him to leave me and file for divorce. I don’t like living and being alone but it is much better than the last couple years and final 3 months of my marriage.
