What happened to the “Hut of Privacy” or whatever they called that blanketed corner or the common room? from Stsph’s comment it sounds like she was using her’s and Tiffany’s bedroom. If Tiffany knew in advance that they were using it I hope she spread plastic sheets over her bed and desk area. And afterwards entered the room spraying bleach. That roommate has so many cooties that I’m calling her Staph for short. That the hut has been Amnesied explains why Tiffany was up all night playing ping pong. I wonder if her grades have fallen into negative numbers yet,

It looks like Tiffany has lost her extra weight. I am glad to see she is enjoying herself to some extent, even if dorm life isn’t perfect.

Well, which do you love more – the dorm life or dorm suite? Are you putting up with Stef just because you enjoy dorm parties? Heck, you could host parties at your own place – and not invite Stef. She would be persona non grata.

Tiff is back, But we all can write the ending.

I have a feeling things are going to be heating up in Tiff’s life. Will she make a play for Kip? (He’s soiled goods as far as I’m concerned.) Or will she find a new beau of her own? She looks to be out and about in the dorm scene. It’s “Anything Can Happen Week” in the Wonderful World of Luanniverse!

Hopefully, when Steffi gives Kip a mysteriously burning rash, they will both be invited to bunk elsewhere.

Stef & her guy should drop out of college until they get all their ****ing done.

Nothing like returning to a tiny dorm room that reeks of, err, intimate activities.

Again, why does Tiff have to make a “sacrifice” in order to make Stef happy? Why can’t Stef and Kip use Kip’s dorm room sometimes, and Kip’s roommates be damned?

Sorry, but Tiffany has played “fair” long enough.

It’s time for her to get underhanded.

Tiff already knows that Stef and Kip’s (SHORT) relationship isn’t all that solid.

Plus most “folks” don’t like clingy partners. Especially guys such as Kip. Who, like Jack, could get any gal they want. No matter how great the sex is, Kip might be looking for a exit plan, and Tiff should show him the door.

Not saying that Tiff should drive a stake thru Stef’s heart, but a well placed _wedge between her and her boyfriend, could be the ticket.

A little Intel on Stef and Kip is in order. Hair seems to know everything that’s goes on in the dorm. And the gent to Hair’s right, might be on the the football squad and knows Kip pretty well.

And seeing that Tiffany is back down to fighting weight, maybe it’s time for her to try out for the cheerleading squad.

There’s bound to be one or more ladies on that squad that hate Stef’s guts as much as some of the rest of Us do.

I would like to continue the Bernice and Nil storyline. The Sunday comic showed them together and how easy it was for them to talk to each other. Bernice needs to forget Jack and give Nil a real chance.

Tiffany looks so happy! She’s no more alone in her huge mansion, she has friends to hang out and have fun with and she loves it ♡! Of course, not everything is perfect, but it’s still way, way better than being alone and slowly going insane. I just don’t understand if Stefi is warning her out of courtesy or if she’s “subtly” bragging about it including Kip in the video call.

Family comic or no, the panel I’m waiting on is the cheerleader getting ‘unexpectedly’ preggo, the boy toy bailing and her having to ditch Moony U.

I wondered how Luann would handle real sex between young adults and I see hilariously silly. Note, none of the main characters have any indication that they actually engage in, or have engaged in intercourse, but Steph and Kip fill that storyline nicely. Tiff is fronting actually. She gave up insisting on keeping the nightly hanky panky out of her half of the 4 people room, so she plays ping pong all night? That can’t last. Hair and the other character seem not too far from normal college kids who do things that effect study but I bet Hair manages to keep his grades up enough to stay in Moony. Will Tiff-Fan be able too?

There’s no logical reason for Tiffany to put up with this ridiculous situation when she can just go home and have the entire house to herself. She can always come and hang out at the student union when she wants to be social, or invite the gang over there.

Also, yes, folks, it’s yet another week with no sign of Luann. Remember her? The writers of the strip apparently don’t. How’s HER new semester going? Nobody knows or cares, I guess. Is she even still in college?

It may simply be how it is with college life in the dorms (admittedly, never had to experience it), but I would find that arrangement unacceptable. I would complain all the way up the chain-of-command over that one.

It’s nice to see that Tiffany is among friends in the dorm.

It’s not anything new. College kids are sexually active. And living in dorms means sometimes the activity is blatantly obvious. Someone might get pregnant. Or maybe Steff might fake a pregnancy to try to force a marriage.

You have no idea how relieved I was not to see Bernice and Nil today. Let’s see how long it takes for Karen to go into her manic mental dive and ruin this one.

Yes, Dorm Life is great. I spent 5 years on a floor with other engineers, a bunch of wild and crazy guys that knew how to do things and had access to cool stuff.

Still no appearance of Bernice at Mooney U!? GnK seem to be treating any ongoing stories of Luann, Bernice and Tiffany separately. Luann’s in school but needs a job for financial support. Bernice is dealing with romance, love and sex issues. Tiffany is dealing with school work, dorm life and her own infatuation issues. And the three interact only peripherally.

It is so clearly obvious how they’re gonna write the happy couple out, when the time comes. What’s the betting look like on when Stef gets preggers?

She plays ping pong all night and there’s a dance tonight? When does she sleep? When does she actually attend classes? They need some rules in the dorm room, like all guests have to leave by midnight.

I am not sure why this strip is called “Luann” anymore, since there appear to be fewer strips about her than the “friends”. Maybe “Luann’s World” would be a better name for it? Or are we all being prepared for this strip to be “phased out” as the characters fully grow up, and get on with their comic-strip living lives?

Dorm life was good for me. Except or that last bit.

Steff and Kip need a room that rents by the hour. And, since Steff and Kip have been boffing like bunnies the entire semester, it’s entirely possible she won’t return after Christmas due to pregnancy. Maybe the boy is figuring out that he’s been led into a honey-trap…

I refuse to read Steffi arc, I’ll check back next Monday.

If “gig” is now a transitive verb that takes an object—“gigging the dorm dance”—it means either that I, a musician who plays gigs AT places rather than “gigging” them—have been passed by in this changing world, or that G & K aren’t hip to real musicians’ slang. Probably the former, alas.

Yeah! It’s been a couple months since we checked in with Tiffany and the dorm situation. Glad she’s enjoying something about college. Seems the blanket solution didn’t work. Wonder if she or someone will come up with a solution.

Of the 25 comics I follow, this one consistently has more than twice as many comments as the second place comic. Apparently, there are many of us who are interested in, and invested, in the characters and their stories, even though there are WIDE differences of opinion about those characters and stories.

I think this is solid proof that GnK are doing an overall wonderful job. Bravisimo, GnK!

I’m guessing Tiffany’s next play is to host a big party in her room and squeeze Steph out.

In reading through today’s comments, I noted that some here have mentioned that Hair always has the same gape – mouthed expression, and the only movement seems to be the difference in the protrusion of his tongue.

I firmly believe Hair looks like that because at some time, someone kicked him in the knobblers and his face has become permanently that way. Evidently some type of Testiculomandibular Joint Disorder.
