“Quiet” you say?

We aren’t getting the family puzzle time arc after all….

Well Nancy, YOU were the one who invited Bernice in.

And you know the old saying: “NO good deed goes unpunished.” ;-)

I often feel the same way when I am on a very busy and active vacation.

So the mid-week misdirection twist is that Nancy needs a break from Bernice? I hate to be critical of the strip or the authors (People keep calling me a troll) but between the week of Leslie trying to fix the toilet and this week the strip has really hit barren ground.

I still have no idea what direction they’re going for.

Yes – No matter how right you are – you can still be wrong.

I’m actually feeling more annoyed with Nancy who bottles everything up and cannot muster the courage to say what she thinks.

I like doing games and puzzles on my phone—when they’re not plagued by d@mned ads all the time!

So—is it time for the DeGroot family to tell Bernice it’s time for her to move out of their house??

Does Bernice ever stop lecturing? If she does become a therapist, her patients won’t be able to get a word in edgewise. Not that Bernice would listen to them anyway.

I keep wondering what would have happened if Luann and Bern would have stayed under that tree just a few more minutes when they were going through their “romance novel” experiment. The guys coming up to the tree as they were leaving might have proved to be fascinating.

And mentally composing an eviction notice

I wish Nancy would just say:

Bernice, if you don’t mind, I really just need some alone time right now. Being a future therapist, I am sure you understand. I appreciate your concern, insight, and friendship… But at this time I would just like to complete my puzzle in solitude.

What is wrong with that?

Doing a puzzle also stimulates DOPE production, otherwise known as “Bernice”.

Bernice broke Nancy’s eardrums. Wonder if Bern even noticed Nancy slipping away?

Nancy works at a restaurant, she has to deal with pushy people all the time. Why doesn’t she just tell Bernice that she appreciates the help but just really wants some quiet time alone? Surprised to see Nancy being such a doormat here.

Nancy, when you got up you should have accidentally knocked the table over.

Shut UP, Bernice. Being a psychologist is 95% listening, you might take this opportunity to get in some practice.
