I like your poem, Satchel!

Satchel does not often lose it. He is a pacifist. But he has been known to hold a grudge.

Sometimes you just have to put a stop to the abuse.

Yay, Satch, it’s about time. Bucky had it coming.

It’s time for kitty’s flying lesson

Bucky’s awakened the sleeping tiger, er, pooch!

Mr. Cooncat , I suspect you live near me, I’m on the other side of the Niagara River. And I, too, own a Maine Coon. Who actually would treat Satchel pretty good. Bucky, he’d swat away: “Ya bother me, boy!”

Bravo, Satchel! Any poet who reads his own work in public should not be put aside lightly but thrown across the room with great force. Said poet may have other nasty habits. (With apologies and gratitude to the late Dorothy Parker and Robert Heinlein.)

My older cat was bugged continually by the younger cat. The younger cat learned you can only push him so far – then he falls over and snarls at you.
