If this is the price the Universe demanded for my visa to stay with David in New Zealand to be approved, I shall endure the torment. I really really really hope it’s not Covid. Um, do Americans usually leave the bag in when they drink their ‘tea’?

This is just like the fights my cat and dog have. My old lady cat and dog who are both over 12 years old. My brothers both say it’s like watching the Golden Girls in the boxing ring.

Say hello to Sultan (in my profile pic). He’s settling in very nicely. And I’ve heard from a lady who fed him and his ginger brother since they were kittens and abandoned (GRRRRRR!). We told her we want to have her bring her kids over now and then to visit him :)

Annnndddd….. I don’t know if I’ve mentioned the Roof Cat, who likes to tease the dogs? It’s freaking Sultan! He and his ginger brother have been coming here for ages! Jason realized it when he hears about the brother, he’s seen them both, I hadn’t. So it’s no wonder Sultan is so at home here :)

Update from this corner of the Orb: the Woman’s ankle is not getting better. We’ve ascertained that it isn’t broken (at least not according to the x-rays they got at Urgent Care) but I would think the pain would have started abating by now. Taking her to a family friend to look things over today and depending on what she has to say, our next stop might be my podiatrist.

Is Georgia going to redo the “Our reporters” page? She doesn’t have to, just a thought of mine.

Now they’ve done it. They woke the Wrath of Puck.

My brown tabby female continually gives a hello-surprise! bop to the neighbor’s orange tabby male, who is significantly bigger. Normally, he just looks surprised because she immediately assumes the inferior-crouched position. Occasionally, he’s not in the mood and there’s a slap fight As a rule, a female will tend to dominate in a multi-cat situation, but not by fighting. I had one agouti tabby female who would take away my tabby male’s favorite pillow an inch at a time, under the guise of snuggling, until he fell off.

This has gone on long enough! I think this is so severe that we need Baba Mouse and all her wisdom to step in and have a talk with these two! It goes too far when you upset sweet Pucky.

Uh-oh! I see the No-No Spray Bottle and Time Outs in Separate Rooms in the immediate future! And lots of Chicky-dinner kitty treats for Puck. Maybe Elvis is asleep in his Special bed (possibly shared with Jolene).

I’m getting a big Matrix vibe from Lupin’s back-bent pose in the first panel. I can almost see that whole ‘boo-oo-oo-oo-oop’ in slow motion. And Goldie’s noodly bent arm adds to the illusion.

My Quinn, one of last year’s flood orphan kittens, is testing the waters to see if he might be an alpha cat. He’s been aggressively head butting and pushing over other cats. So far all he’s done is antagonize his housemates.

Sorry I’m so late. It’s been a DAY … since yesterday.

Today is International Tiger Day. On behalf of all our little tigers ROOOWWRRR! If you can, donate to the preservation of their larger cousins.

It is also National Lipstick Day. Sounds compromising to me.

But it is also National Lasagna Day! Another comic cat, who shall remain nameless, is ecstatic, going for a new record in lasagna face-plants.

Well, after seven months of comparative ? security here, I am about to start looking for another place to live, just in case. I will not go into detail in this public area, but I’m afraid the situation is simply untenable. I hope that I am wrong, and I’ll keep you updated. I’ll know more later. Your prayers, purrs, headbutts, and all else are deeply appreciated.
