Tiffany likes to write theses? I always thought she was barely literate! For most of her life she has been pretty and when you’re pretty who needs reading or writing or arithmetic.

Tiffany lives in one dimensional world where she needs the validation of her dad to feel alive. Tiffany should invite Dez to Maui?

Tiffany has never had a boyfriend, maybe she needs to invite Oxford to the 30 room Mansion. Oxford’s parents are wealthy.

Speaking of school starting, my school schedule is supposed to come out right now … but it hasn’t. I’m just refreshing the page every few minutes now.

Tiffany please explain how living in a 30 room mansion is sympathy i know you live in your world but even this much for you.

Tiff, the dorms is not the only social place on the campus. You do have your fellow classmates in several of your classes, you pass students on the campus, you see them at the cafeteria, the campus store, the library. Social is not necessarily synonymous with parties.

Punch line was the phrase I was trying to think of in one of the comments I wrote last week. Dez is really getting good with punch lines. The irony totally goes over Tiffany’s head.

Well, that confirms one thing.

Tiffany is officially no longer living in the dorm.

But, seeing that the money-grubbing Ann Eiffel is no longer in the picture and that Tiff’s Pop is once again rolling in dough (Or on the verge of rolling in dough again) WHY can’t Tiffany take that “Maui Money” and move back into the dorm??

Someone suggested Tiffany getting a housemate to move into the mansion.

Dez is a possibility. However, I think the logical choice would be Bets.

Bets doesn’t appear to be getting along with her “folks.” so moving out from under them would be a plus.

And Bets could work out a deal for room and board at the Farrell homestead in exchange for helping Tiffany with her school work.

Naturally, it WON’T be that simple. :)

That thirty room mansion is really lonely. Tiffany doesn’t even have a dog, cat, or goldfish to keep her company.

Living alone in that 30 room mansion eliminates social distractions so you can concentrate on your schoolwork, get high grades and thus snag that degree Tiff.

Dez – Don’t you know when someone wants to complain?

Tiffany should return to her little room at the campus with her annoying roommate Stefi and her, possibly bad, circle of party-goers. Better than being alone in her huge mansion. Or has Tom decided not to change Ann Eiffel’s rules and Tiffany is low on allowance, so she doesn’t have enough money to keep a dorm room?

well Tiff, maybe the epiphany that has yet to hit you is that you don’t have to wait for someone to “give” you a thesis to write or anything else for that matter. so what are you doing sunning yourself? If you’re sick of sitting around by yourself doing nothing you can change that.

I’m going to call this right now – Tiffany gets the idea to start a business renting out each of her “30 rooms” to college students, because she’s interested in running a business and she’s lonely.

Maybe Tiffany needs to get out there and try to find herself a husband.

Looks like my statement Saturday was accurate: G&K apparently have forgotten that Dez isn’t from Pittsville and is only there for school. Remember when she traveled to exotic places every chance she got? Now here she is like every other character, stuck in this town even when she has no reason to be there.

I’m a little surprised at all the comments to the effect that Tiffany is being arrogant. She actually is lonely, and doesn’t have the perspective or life skills (they were not taught to her) to deal with her situation, and for the same reason has no clue how her statement sounds to other people. Although it seems to matter to others, it doesn’t matter to Tiffany that her “mansion” has 30 rooms, because those 30 rooms don’t make her happy. She has few tools from life experience to change that.

Maybe Dez is onto something…

Tiffany is such an unbelievable self absorbed snob now. Wasn’t she miserable when she was living in the dorm? Of course now, with the daddy dollars back on line, she can go back into the suite she had there. I can’t keep up with the personality changes sometimes. What happened to the kind, generous peace earth angel who so loved her bells?

It isn’t the same. My oldest went to college at night and commuted. he neverhad any college friends. My youngest lived at his college. All his roommates were at his wedding and they still keep in touch.

Why does Evans insist on having Tiffany in this strip? For a while it looked like she might be growing up a bit and then there were spots where we were supposed to feel sympathy for her but then this. Tiffany = the most unlikable character in all of comicdom.

to build acollege you need: 1) A Library 2) Dorms for students to discuss what they read 3) then maybe some classrooms and teachers – I wish I could remember where I read that.

Go easy, Tiff. Dez is trying to be a friend, something you need desperately! And, besides, you know you live only in a little part of that 30-room mansion: it’s a very lonely place!

Is Dez suggesting that Tiff get some roommates to fill the house? Hummmm….

Having lots of what you don’t want is never better. What she needs is a nice sod hut.

With Ann gone I don’t understand why she isn’t going back
