I think, for one reason or another, we’re all frustrated here.

I think Luann is on a path to the true situation. Perhaps. with some discussion, she can bring some resolution?

Luann might want to be careful with her questions. Didn’t she almost lose Gunther as a friend by being nosy about what Bets and he had going on?

And Luann’s laptop has disappeared. And we need to go back a day or two to where Luann wrote that Tiffany exaggerates a bit. People said Luann was lying about Tif but Tif is outright lying here. Lying like a 13 year old having her first crush. So much for maturing.

But, but, what happened at the gazebo??

Liar, Tiff. You stay hidden because it is a promise you made to Stef, not because you do not want to frustrate Kip. THAT was the very reason why you moseyed over to the cabana for no apparent reason. You WANTED him to see you and invite you over. Apparently, nothing happened when he invited you to join him in the pool if you’re still antsy.

Kip’s “infatuation” with Tiffany is all in Tiff’s head.

Now, more than EVER, I vote for bringing the “Old 2015 Tiffany” back.

Yeah, I know the “old” Tiff was just as delusional. But the “old” Tiff had considerably more backbone and gumption. And THAT Tiff always bounced back.

This “Tiffany” is liable to shatter like a pumpkin smashed on the sidewalk when she finds out Kip ain’t interested.

Now, if Tiff REALLY wants to “steal” a boyfriend, well.

I got a suggestion……., ;-)

Frustration? On who’s end?

Two people are attracted to each other. One person is losing interested in his girlfriend and isn’t so attracted to her anymore. Will Tiff and Kip become an item? Will they be victims of Stef’s revenge?

Just do it already!

Work off those hormones. Go for a swim.

She is 1/2 ways honest.

It looks like Luann has figured out what is going on and that Tiffany is feeling the big attraction and frustration too. The way she’s smiling kindly at her doesn’t show derision, but understanding. I think Luann is happy that Tiffany confides in her and that she has changed so much to have these moral doubts. Tiffany seems so vulnerable that Luann has brought out the protective side of her. Whatever she says to Tiffany, it will be to help her. Let’s hope Tiffany doesn’t react badly and that their friendship will become stronger.

Can you imagine Luann and Tiff having a heart to heart conversation in their high school days?

I don’t think Tiffany is being delusional here. She just doesn’t want to tell the shameful truth to Luann.

Or create feelings in Kip that he clearly shouldn’t have.

I like Luann’s little grin when she says “yet there’s frustration”. She’s not buying it.

I said it yesterday. She’d not worried that she’s breaking them up. She’s worried that she’s not. This supports that analysis.

In Tiff’s case I think there is emotional frustration and a LOT of sexual frustration.

Frustration? Is that what it’s called. Got to be a way to fix frustration.

Tiffany is playing a game in her head, the frustration is all on her part

If Tiff stays hidden then there’s nothing to stare at, if Kip looks when she comes out maybe it’s because the whole situation is so peculiar, i.e. a housemate that you hardly ever see. Tiff thinks Kip is obsessed with her when all he’s doing is encouraging her to be normal, except Tiff doesn’t know how to be “normal” around a guy. She doesn’t know how to have a guy around the house who’s not her dad.

Writer or therapist?

Note that Luann isn’t taking notes at the moment. Definitely reading between the lines. Without having to say anything Tiff might admit who’s actually frustrated.

Kip is like Piro and Quill and Jack: Objects of desire, but they’re so insubstantial it feels like it’s only about their looks.

Another week of Tiff & Kip -but a least we get to see Luann!!

For once Tiffany is interested in a boy whose GF isn’t good for him. That may be a good cause for self doubt. She wants to grow and change but her rescuer trait is trying to take over to fix them.. the wrong way, and she knows it.

Tiffany is just seeking validation from someone, anyone, that will make it all right for her to go after Kip. All this before she knows if he’s even interested. I think Kip and Steffanie are pretty solid, in their own weird way. Watching Tiffany glorify herself day after day is getting really old and boring and stupid. I hope all of her unsubstantiated drama 1 gets her fired, and 2 gets her a nice “thanks, but no thanks” from Kip.

I really like that the adversarial dynamic is over between these two. Lou and Tiff could benefit from each others friendship here.

Luann lives with the oversexed neurotic Bernice. This is nothing for her.

And confusing as well.

Congratulations, Tiff. You’re living out the frustration of every young gay man who had to stay in the closet for whatever reason. When you’re gay and all you know are straight guys, or at least guys trying to pretend they’re straight, that’s who you’re going to develop a crush on. And they’re even more off limits than Kip is. The only thing worse than the “I like you, but not in that way” speech is the threat of being beaten up.

Judicious application of a Steely Dan will relieve some of that frustration, Tif.

Quite a case of projection Tiff’s got going there.

I like the way Tiff, in panel 1, gives Luann an indignant-style “NO!” but then softens that “no” in the next panel. It seems that these two are starting to warm to each other as friends — perhaps confidants.

This sounds like a “do it yourself” project.

Ooohh. A rare moment of lucidity for Lulu. Teens do grow up. In this strip’s case it takes 40 years.

He stares at you all the time, even though you stay hidden? Hm.

At any time were either of you nude to semi-nude? Just asking.

Tiff has put the story backwards; she is crushing and spying on Kip. Only in panel 3 does she hint that the frustration is in fact hers!…

Luann is showing therapist tendencies. Look out, Bern.
