Kids aren’t for everyone, Brad… ;)

Is that a fitted sheet? The bane of most.

If he’s folding the sheet wrong, doesn’t that mean his mom didn’t teach him the correct way?

Read an article once which started with a story about a mother who got in an argument with her teenager about him folding his t-shirt “wrong.” Seriously, if your teenaged son is folding his own clothes, shut your big mouth and let him fold it anyway he wants.

Um, Nancy—is part of being a great parent knowing how to fold laundry??

She may have faith in Brad as a Dad but she just made him feel like her little boy again.

I get that too. She wants them folded from the short or long edge, sometimes in thirds.

Brad isn’t a parent yet. All this training is for Jonah’s kid.

Looks about right for a fitted sheet: wad, wad, stuff, stuff, then cram it in a drawer it can’t crawl out of.

Buy a fitted sheet folder on amazon. They work perfectly.

It’s to Nancy’s credit that she DIDN’T add: “That is, IF you ever get the opportunity to actually BE a DAD. (Hint, Hint, Hint)” ;-)

Translation: “I’m hiding the truth about how much raising kids really does suck, but I want grandkids so I am providing placating words”.

If he thinks parenting is hard, wait until he has to put a comforter back in the cover.

In th last picture I’m hoping Brad doesnt have Shannon in that green sheet. For some reason it looks kinda big and unwieldy

Folding laundry can be done wrong?

Women’s faults are many! Men have only two: everything they say, and everything they do!

I learned not to do too good at household chores, or it becomes your job. Clothes stay in the dryer until we run out of something. That’s when the clean load gets folded.

Hey Bedding Designers! Start making sets of TWO flat sheets and two pillowcases. If you tuck the ends in, you don’t them elasticized, You’re welcome!

Leave it to Nancy to give Brad some pep talk.

Well, maybe if you had taught him while he was staying with you, Nancy? Just saying…

Part of being a wonderful mother is knowing when to stop being a mommy to your son and correcting him for such trivial things like folding clothes. Besides, if she is in his house, who is she to determine the right or wrong way to fold clothes?

She’s also giving lessons on being a husband.

I know it’s my interpretation but this strip seems like a “take that” to readers who think Brad would be a bad father.

Folding fitted sheets is easy, except the ones with elastic all the way around.

Yup, it’s not clear what Brad is trying to do. Nancy has a lot to teach him, but Brad wants to learn and is a good student. Let’s hope Frank will also have the opportunity to show his skills with children, perhaps to Toni.

In most cases, doing it wrong is how you learn to do it right. (But let’s not talk about nuclear weapons just here, OK?)

I prefer, “here let me show you an easier more efficient way to do that.” “You’re doing it wrong” sounds so narcissistic to me, eg, a woman asks me for a craft idea to do with her grandchildren. I buy the supplies for a craft to do with them, she changed her mind-decided on something else. I help her with that. She looks at the supplies I bought with my money, that I’m never getting back, and says in a sing-song 7 yr old spoiled child voice, “You’re doing it wrong!” Yet before I got them she told me she never even heard of the craft I had planned. =narcissist. If you should choose to defend the woman, I tolerated this, even worse, BS for 20 years before I realized I don’t have to.

I agree with Nancy on Brad being a good dad. On his folding it wrong, if it’s a fitted sheet there is no wrong way.

Being a parent might be the hardest job in the world, but it also has its rewards.

I can’t tell if that’s a sheet or a towel, but the consensus seems to be sheet. Still, it made me think of a favorite strip in “For Better or For Worse” where Elly is complaining to her friends that John doesn’t fold the towels correctly. Her friends’ responded with “Your husband folds towels???”

She is so real and sweet.

Toughest, and bestest, job in the world is being a dad.
