Hyperactive gardener. Maybe Earl will train Roscoe to reduce the size of her zucchini patch.

I’d go out for my meals until the fridge no longer had zucchini.

Put most of them in the Compost heap that’s where they’re going to end up anyway

In our area there’s an old saying: “If you have no zucchini you have no friends."I tried a compact zucchini this year: “Space Miser". The fruits were as thick as my thumb and about 5” long. Chopped up well into carrot sized rounds so great for stir fries/tomato dishes. The overgrown ones were thick as your fist and still short as your hand. Saves a lot of zucchini angst.

Spouse steamed some zucchini last night: Sliced into 5mm rounds, tossed with some rosemary and thyme and steamed in a basket for several minutes. Served w/ a bit of butter.

Not bad, but not knock-you-down delicious either

It’s obvious, you should make pickles out of them. If they still persist, graduate to courgette quiche, then zucchini pie.

Mom used to make zucchini bread… it was the only way she could get us kids to ingest the stuff we considered as loathsome and “ucky.” Apparently some tastes change when you get older… love the stuff now.

Zucchini doesn’t have enough flavor to love or hate. But it does go well with a lot of different recipes.
