Tiff was lucky he didn’t ask her why she accused him of being hot for Nancy.

Good job cutting her down a notch or two Les.

Well dang, Les. You aren’t getting any girls if you act like that.

Liar, Les. You’re into Tiff but you know she doesn’t reciprocate so you get gruffy to cover up your feelings.

I agree with Les, you have to go mind your own business, Tiff. Time to move on.

So this four week journey ends. No lessons learned. No character advancement. This is so GnK. Can we at least get back to Luann doing nothing.

Shame on Betts for gossiping. Tiffany has been moving forward, but this bit of gossip set her back.

I’m thinkin they needta invest in another fan just for Nancy. Unless Nancy’s been usin the excuse of standig in front of Les’ fan just to get close to him. Mebbe we’re thinkin about this all wrong an we got it backwards. Might be Nancy’s in to Les..

Red Letter Day!

I can’t believe I’m about to write this, but for ONCE, I’m in FULL agreement with Knox. Heck, I’ll even leave out the (UGH).

I’m hoping this arc ends today. Not that it was a bad arc (It WASN’T). But BEFORE Knox puts two and two together and figures out where Tiff got her info from.

Because it’s likely Les would unload on Gunther first back at the Gulag. And the Gunnerman will have NO Earthly idea what the H3LL Les is yelling about.

Or WORSE, Tiffany decides to make “amends” with Les (Easy Stomach) and get the SILLY idea to prove to him that she IS Hot.

So, keep up the GOOD work in panel two and three, Les, and don’t backslide!

And congratulations, Ox! You still have (slim) shot with Tiff now that hopefully Les is forever out of the running.

But unfortunately, so does Kip……, ;-)

Les is a jerk regardless.I mean he called Nancy old like she was 70. Les doesnt have a pot to pea in.

It goes another week.

We find out who he has a crush on.

It’s the dishwasher. He gave the dishwasher a female name. He gets to load her anyway he wants to. And she always performs.

Spotlessly.

Les would be perfectly justified in spraying Tiffany with the hose right now.

Harsh but fair, Les. Based on results. But don’t expect any real changes out of Tiffany.

And Les will know that either Bets or Gunther told Tiffany since nobody else would have heard him talking to Punk.

Good! Now let’s get back to Kip’s crush on Tiffany!

So, things just don’t appear what they seem to be. That’s a really old statement but still holds true.

Why would a guy tell his cat someone was hot at work? My Bernedoodle and I sure don’t have those conversations.

Tiff should be hot and red faced with embarassment and in need of Les’ fan.

Les was a bit snarky, but have to admit, Tiffany earned every bit of the snark she received.

Ugh, who would want him!

Les isn’t right very often, but when he is? BINGO!

Kudos to Les for the maturity he shows in limiting himself to just one stinging comment. I fear Tiffany hasn’t learned not to jump to conclusions or pry. But this awkwardness will probably make her think twice before assuming it’s all about her. Her journey of maturation continues, I think it’s going pretty well.

I enjoyed this arc. Thank you Greg & Karen.

Well…that solves that. Now on with Tiff and Kip, the apparent chubby chaser. Yea…I said it.

For all of Les’ many faults, as viewed by others, failing to mind his own business is not one of them.

So Kip paid Tiffany a compliment because Les talks to his cat.

So, every morning I read the latest adventure of a guy whose life is so small that he actually notices when someone stands in front of “his fan” and goes home and tells his cat about it. I don’t know who’s more pathetic, him or me.

I would really like to see this story continue, but with Les getting some kind of revenge on Gunther and Bets (who seem to be sharing laughs about things he says to Punk). Maybe he could feed some juicy info about them to Tiffany that would get back to Bets, or better yet, make a few offhand remarks to Irma and Al about their guest house being a “love nest”. Both Gunther and Bets have broken a basic roommate rule – you don’t repeat your roommate’s private conversations or situations that you might inadvertently hear or learn about. Both Gunther and Bets are being really inconsiderate IMO. When Les is off work and trying to relax he shouldn’t have to put up with hearing them going at it, because if they can hear him talking to a cat on his lap he can definitely hear everything they’re doing. How hard would it be for them to show some courtesy and get together when he’s not home?

OK. Next week let’s work on Kip & Stef breaking up.

It was over 30 years ago someone told me that a man I was interested in had started to date a younger woman. I asked someone else about it who made it sound like I was gossiping, you know, narrowing the eyes with a crafty “I got you now” expression.. The man approached me asking me to talk to him if I needed to know something. You know, to this day he and I are still friends. He gave me a healthy boundary and I respected it.

In this storyline, Les is right. Aren’t these characters supposed to be young adults and not teens?

Les is telling Tiff to “get a grown-up life” when not long ago he was on the schoolyard bully trip. At least we know he’s matured.

Tiff should’ve left well enough alone and went with Kip’s kind words of encouragement, instead of thinking she was all that, and accused Les of having the hots for her. Now she suffered a major hit to her ego. Serves her right.

I think you’re forgetting who you are talking to Les.

Les’s question in the last panel is interesting. To be intelligible, a question has to have presuppositions. And . . . ?

So there is the answer to what Les told his cat. Kind of a weird thing to tell your cat. But it did make for an interesting arc.

Love the finger-twisted hands in panel 3. Perfect for showing embarrassment and anxiety. Nice touch!

Sticking her head in the freezer will work better than a fan.. trust me!

Wow, what a surprise, not. I am truly enjoying the story lines since last spring or so with the whole Tiff & Bets doing a personality makeover on Luann. Really enjoy watching the 5 after midnight crowd get yanked around by the nose, kinda funny really ! ;-)

Meanwhile, back at the Grilled Cheese Sandwich…..
