Tortellini is my favorite. Suddenly I have an affection for Tiffany I never realized before.

Okay, friends and neighbors. Let’s add up the facts, shall We?

1) Tom can still afford to live in a lavish mansion.

2) Tom can still afford a live-in cook that travels with him on trips.

3) Tom can still afford trips to Europe and cabin hide-a-ways with his Leech-Friend, Uh I MEAN “Girlfriend.”

4) Tom’s “ball and chain” apparently has an UNLIMITED expense account.

So again, please explain to Me “HOW” Tom has “money problems?”

Ann Evil has always been great at lying. Obviously, she’s also good at insults…

Tiffany has paid her dues…. Nasty Ann has a boat load coming and is going to need a good attorney someday! I hope it is soon!!!!!!!

Tiff should call the cabin and tell Chef Justine not to make her namesake dish for Ann.

Geez Tiffany jumps back & forth from 12 to 20. I can’t believe Tiffany asked Ann why Justine isn’t staying at the house to cook for Tiffany. Tiff deserved the punch line Ann dropped on her. Tiff – you’re not a kid anymore – and you’re certainly old enough to know what’s going on with Daddy. If Tiffany spends a year working at The Fuse and maybe paying rent for a room at DeGroots – we could see some real character development. Luann is growing up too – the old grudges should fade. I would really like to see them become friends.

Yes, Tiffany really needs to lose weight, because women who wear a size four (in the first panel) or six (in the second panel) are sooo big. Sterling artwork there, GE.

I don’t think Tiff’s figure came from cooking. As I seem to remember from the dorm, it came from cellophane bags and plastic bottles.

Granted, Ann is supposed to be a villain.

But to me, fat jokes will never be funny.

Whopper of a jab. Hold on to the anger and aim for revenge. Don’t leave any spot unearthed in the house. You will find something.

Am I the only who likes Tiffany’s father less and less every time this story line comes up?Sure we get she was spoiled. He created and helped gold emboss that monster. But what he is doing now is just cruel. Literally taking every single thing from her? Including something that is probably a special meal that is the closest thing she has to a “family recipe” and giving it to someone else to partake in?This whole thing needs to come to a head soon. Because even low grade bullying is bullying (which is what Ann Eiffel is) and I am about done with all of this. Little else in the strip is remaining interesting.

I get it that Ann is a good villain, but . . . is she going to get her punishment anytime in the next year or two? Seriously, readers want some justice every now and then.

Now, I understand Tiffany isn’t stereotypically “Supermodel” thin anymore, after that bought with depression (which one presumes she’s still fighting,) but after dieting, doesn’t Tiff have a “normal” figure? At least, that seems to be the way Greg draws her now. So, Ann’s burn should just wash over Tiffany.

If she knew how to feed herself she wouldn’t be fat. Unfortunately many in today’s world don’t know how to feed themselves. I didn’t learn until after my heart attack at 36.

Obviously Tom is not in the room when Ann treats Tiffany like this. I wish Tiff would record some of the awful things Ann says to her and play them for Daddy.

Tiffany Tortellini is most likely just tortellini, cut up hot dog slices and mayo. Not sure if any of the characters have a refined palate.

Ann is just a gold digging, back stabbing egotist who is toxic.

Tiffany is not very bright, she sets herself up for Ann all the time. I remember when she caught Ann cheating, instead of telling the police or her father first, she tells Ann who has some to make Tiffany the bad guy

It really annoys me when someone wants a person to do something and they don’t do it themselves.

Ann is her usual sweet self…so what’s new? :D

I just wish some evil karma would strike Ann and let Tiffany and her father get close again. The only one that stays in my mind is at Christmas when she was alone in her dorm. I know Tiffany has done bad things but knowing your parents or parent has your back can change everything. I’m still wondering what happened when the RA found out about the black out party.

The mansion should have a private theater room. Tiffany needs to invite Leslie Knox for private screening. Leslie Knox & Tiffany Farrell would be great couple since they have never had a “significant other”. Episode title would be “The Summer of 2020”.

What other dishes exist in a world of Tiffany Tortellini? Gunther Goulash? Bernice’s Sour Berries? Frank’s Flatulent Fettucini?

Ann may be fun to draw, but she’s misery to read. I’m seeing enough people like her on the news sites. Can we just drop her from the comics?

Ann is very able of making herself easy to hate. It’s more and more evident that Tom’s financial problems were a lie. But Tiffany must now learn to survive alone. Maybe she will ask for help. If she asks Gunther to help her, it will be interesting to see Bets’ reaction…

We’re seeing more of Ann in this comic that Luann. Remember Luann? The strip is named after her. It would be interesting to see the story arcs in her teaching career & day care environment. The plight of the “1%” isn’t that interesting with 20% unemployment.

if they have a chef still I’d say there isn’t a money crunch. ann is just shutting down tiffany’s spending so her own can take over.

What’s next? She’s gonna tell Tiffany to wash her own clothes?

Cmon. Will someone just push Ann down an elevator shaft? Get rid of her. Tiff doesn’t deserve this misery.

AE thinks she is rich but is something that rhymes with that.

What financial problems? it is a ruse on Tiffany or a subterfuge cooked up by Ann?

Ann is just waiting to be fed her own teeth. Retribution is gonna be oh-so-sweet when it arrives. One thing you can count on with karma is that it ALWAYS comes for you. ALWAYS.

Hmmm. Awful Annie has a list in her hand. Can’t wait to see what’s on it. 8^ (

I wonder if Awful Annie will leave her personal trainer at home. Might be an interesting summer for Tiffany. Woo Hoo!

Apparently none of the three principals have softened their basic positions.

I hope Tom set up an irrevocable trust fund for Tiffany when she was little. It’s one hope for a satisfying revenge.

And the weight insults have started already. Ann couldn’t even wait until the three of them shared a meal together.

Even so, the boom needs to finally be lowered on Ann. She’s like a really bad cliche. Just because we hardly have daytime soaps anymore . . .

Seriously, when are we getting rid of this character? You would think that there would come a time when Tiffany’s dad would just wise up and figure it out.

What’s Ann writing? A list of things for Tiff to do while she’s house sitting? Or things NOT to do?Sugar?? So is she channeling Steph now?

I need Cliff Notes to follow all the characters and plot twists.

Tiff has a whole cadre of friends with the necessary skills to circumvent anything Ann does to get under Tiff’s skin. Tiff needs to learn to not rise to Ann’s bait and force Ann to play to Tiff’s strengths. Right now, Ann is exploiting Tiff’s weaknesses.

I hope there’s a point to all this, and that we’re not going to have the cliche of “Wild party now that Dad’s gone” storyline, bleah.

Looks like Ann is making up a list of chores for Tiffany to do while she is staying at Ann’s house.

Hope this is short lived. Ann annoys me – and I’d rather be entertained.

Even though Ann is (of course) being her usual, utterly obnoxious self today…. I have to say that I find the set-up of Tiffany doing some house-sitting to be a wonderfully intriguing start to an arc. There are so very many exciting possibilities on how Greg may use this situation:

1. Will Tiffany be in the home and feel lonely, and upset because of the way her Dad (via Ann) is treating her and because of her academic situation?

2. Will Tiffany use the empty mansion situation as an opportunity to revert back a bit and put together one of the most wild and raucous parties around?

3. Will Tiffany just a few friends over to hang out?

4. Will Tiffany scoot around the house looking for more evidence of Ann’s sinister ways in an effort to get her father to actually see reality ?

5. Will some rather unsuspected thing happen (house robbery, damaging storm, etc) and we will see yet another side of Tiffany’s behavior?

So many options. It is enjoyable to have this potential this week.

I for one do not feel that Tiffany looks bad at all. She gained maybe the Luannverse version of the Freshman 20 but she does not look fat. Plus making snide, ego-depressing fat-shaming comments is wrong anyway, even if Tiffany were fat. But as I always say, the here and now of the arc is very clearly drawn, but the story is still developing, so I/we await developments.

Why is she being civil with Ann? I mean I guess its a good thing but seems like as much as Ann has put her through…although…it seems the conflict is helping Tiff mature, soooo… Ann’s still a @#$%.

So they are having financial issue enough to have Tiffany cut back, but they have enough to pay for expensive vacation with private chef?

Looking at that house, Tiffany’s present dilemma is starting to resemble more and more of that involving Veronica Lodge and her parents in the Riverdale television series version of the Archie Comics characters. Not sure if Tiff’s dad is as big of a thug as Hiram Lodge is on the TV series, but this could get interesting.

Hey – Everyone please remember that Ann is trying to get Tom to marry her. It kinda looks like Tom has required Ann to get along with his daughter before making the commitment. However Ann snd Tiffany have been ready to virtually kill each other in the past year. It started when Tiffany discovered Dad had a girlfriend and Tiffany was no longer the center of his life. At age 19 or so – Tiff should have been able to start handling that. But then Tiff got onto Ann’s scam with lingerie knockoffs and tried to rat her out to Dad. The trouble was that Dad was in love and also likely a crook himself – Tiffany got the benefit of Dad’s money for nearly 20 years. Anyway – Ann’s game now is to force Tiffany to pretend she is OK with Ann in the family. A hard pill to swallow. Alternately, Tiff can work at The Fuse and get along on her own like many young people have to do at that age.

So much for the idea that cash is tight for “Tom”.

Tiffany is about to learn another life skill.

Ann is looking good, but Tiffany is looking dumpy, or so Greg would have us believe. I guess in his mind the devil does wear Prada. Year after year Tiffany gets beaten on, and beaten down. For some reason, Greg seems obsessed with punishing her, without a break. What kind of artist, what kind of man does that?

Oh wait a sec; Tiffany works at a restaurant…why would she need to learn to cook for herself?

I think we will get over 500 comments on today’s episode.

Please Greg, get rid of Ann. It is getting beyond ridiculous. Thank you.

For those who think this still isn’t the fat version of Tiffany, then you have entirely forgotten what she once looked like before dorm life and all that skimpy lingerie she got sold by Gunther and his girlfriend would just not work on the current Tiff…

The reason why Tom is having money problems is because Ann and Tiff spending all Tom cash.

So what’s good for Ann (a pampered lifestyle) is no longer good for Tiffany.

Tiffs dad is such a moron for not getting a vibe about Ann and Tiffanys interactions. But in a way, and it doesn’t have to be a nasty way, Tiffany did need to grow up, just hate to see her get her lessons from Ann

We don’t want Tiffany to get too comfortable living at home, the silver lining in Justine not staying. Tiff does much better when she is around the right people, e.g. friends like Dez, Bernice, Gunther and Bets, and now I think Nancy will be looking out for her. Ann’s continuous jabs at Tiffany reflect jealousy (I believe). Likely Ann knows that Tom loves his daughter (however he expresses it) and that she can never be a substitute for that. Tiff doesn’t need any of her.

I suppose the purpose of this arc is to see what Tiffany will do when she has the house to herself. Will she invite Bets and Gun over to study, or will she invite the party hearty crowd?

I am SO tired of Ann. She is rude to everyone and nothing is ever done about it. I want to see some comeuppance!! Does the writer of this comic think we enjoy seeing Ann getting away with this time after time? I’m sick of it!

The reference to Tiffany being overweight was a low blow – but note – In their nasty exchanges, Tiffany hasn’t called Ann a wh*re, because Ann could (and would) beat the #€%* out of her.

Is it possible in the near future that the Luann comic strip will become a murder mystery comic strip?

I have this feeling that Tiffany will find something. Something earthquaking.

Ouch! Annie Awful struck a low blow that hit home on the Tiffster, who has been a bit full-bodied for a while. Maybe this will prompt her to use the Farrell House exercise room (I am hypothesizing that there is one) to good advantage while house-sitting for Daddy Dearest….

These two are starting to develop a really twisted frenemy relationship. It would be funny if they ended up getting along.

I will give Ann this much, she’s pretty—-on the outside. She has curves and looks fantastic in anything she puts on. But her heart and soul are as black as her hair and lipstick. Ann is an older version of Tiffany and it’s why she treats Tiffany the way she does. Ann sees Tiffany as a younger version of herself.

And Ann doesn’t know how to feed herself?

These fat jokes aren’t cool. No girlfriend could do that to my child….
