Tiffany has been pushed into making some highly questionable decisions lately. I fear the consequences are going to land on her like a ton bricks. This is probably just the start.

Well. Predictable. Dad finds out and skewers the whole thing. I predict he will tell Tiff to return those stuff or move her business to a storage facility in town.

And the “Waremanse” walls are about to come a-tumblin’ down.

In addition to the expected cancellation of Maui trip, Will Poppa Farrell also:

Defund Tiff’s college plans?

Kick her out of the house?

Cut off what remains of her allowance?

Cut Tiff out of his will?

Interestingly, it appears that Pop is one of Bets’ “followers.” The irony here is that this mass advertising was all Bets’ idea. Without which, Pop might never had known.

In truth, Smart, Go-Getter Bets is exactly the type of daughter that Poppa Farrell wishes Tiff was.

Unfortunately, Bets’ “help” is about to torpedo Tiffany.

Well Dad has to look in the mirror for this one. I am guessing Tiff has not got her line of credit from Tom since Ann Eifel convinced him to make Tiff earn a living so he should be proud of her ingenuity and allow her to keep the things she has stored but refuse any more new clients. Of course, it will not work out that way. Tom is an enigma like Al “Winston Wolf” Grey. Tom obviously is a jet setter and is apparently mega rich (at least has that appearance) but he nonetheless has put the vice on Tiff as he says he can’t afford to pay for her private dorm room yet he still flies around the planet like he is Robin Leach. It would be interesting to know what tom actually does, just like Al. Seems like Tom could be a wise guy like Al, then again we do not no exactly what Frank does either, except that he works in an office as we found when Luann went to work with him back in the ’90s.

OH NO! Tiffany’s commercial worked too well and Tom saw it! Otherwise there was no chance for him to find out, because he would never ever pause his job to go home, not even to go with his daughter on that famous trip to Maui! Now obviously Tiffany will be grounded, but maybe this will lead to a big argument between father and daughter about that fact that he’s never home and Tiffany was doing the waremanse because she was sure their trip would end up being canceled as in the past years.

Reminding Tiffany who is the actual owner!

I was wondering when either dad would show up in the picture or the town council etc would show up to shut it down.

For all those “Bets haters”, I don’t think she planned for Tiff to be busted, she wanted her to win. Doing something for a friend, or even a stranger is a good feeling.

People can change for the better, not always but sometimes. Otherwise everyone would still throw tantrums, never lose weight or get into better shape, etc.

Likely scenario is neighbor calls Tom to ask why his daughter is suddenly running a storage facility out of their home in a upper class neighborhood.

He doesn’t look mad.

The stuff has hit the fan.

Will her dad shut down her business, or will he want a piece of the profits?

Now comes the disadvantage of being highly visible on the social media.

I hope this is a setup and maybe he’s pleasantly surprised about Tiff taking initiative to start a business and try to earn her own money. On the other hand, it’s just as easy he is upset. I mean, of course because it’s his house, but is Tiff even slightly aware of what all she’s storing for other people? Big things like those pool tables are obvious, but people could be tucking drug stashes in the stuff they’re storing to hide them. Like, I don’t think this strip would get quite that dark, but it may be a point that’s brought up.

On a side note, there’s some people like Stef where their names are written on the storage boxes, but I hope Tiffany has a more organized system of keeping track of everything from her different clients. Otherwise, things are gonna get messy REALLY quick.

I still don’t understand why “luxury” is a selling point for storage.

Wow! This could go six ways to Sunday in a hurry. While he admires his daughter wanting to be a businesswoman, I’m not sure he wants this publicity for his house or the legal repercussions. Hmmmmm.

Well one thing for sure, Bets’ reach in social media is pretty deep. This was a misdirection play some have been calling heretofore;what way to dramatically get busted. I won’t hazard a guess on how this will land, but hilarity will ensue for sure.

Don’t worry. These kids never suffer any real consequences from their shenanigans with other peoples’ property. This story is interesting though – this time it’s not just their parents property – business (Luann), rental subletting (Gunther), unauthorized remodeling (Brad and TJ). Now we’re getting into the general publics’ property and money paid for services (I guess the parents ran out of facilities to invade). I would have to say that Tiffany has definitely taken the prize, she combined using her fathers’ house with taking property and cash from strangers. Wahoo!

If Bets is making so much money on the internet, why is she mooching a place to stay from Tiffany?

Second, kids are just plain not that smart. They both screwed up plain and simple. Kids (anyone up to age 25) need supervision!

I recall reading a comment when this story line started that stated a problem will arise when her Dad sees what is happening to his home—Good call.

Now we know. All it takes for Tiff’s dad to talk to her is either a complete meltdown of his relationship with the local force of evil, or what he finds while surfing the social media of a woman his daughter’s age.

Looks like a good place to leave us hanging for a few weeks. So, did Dad check his home security system or get a phone call from the HOA regarding an illegal storage facility being operated on his property? Will there be fines? If so, will Bets be as willing to help pay the fines as she is in collecting profits?

The absentee father makes another cameo via cell phone. How nice.

We KNEW this would get back to Tom somehow.

Finally. Tiff looks good and Tom looks good, and in her “muse” re-sale shop clothes, Bernice looks good. It’s a start.

It comes to me that since the point of the strip is to enmiserate Tiffany* that the outcome of this will be Tiffany getting kicked out of her house and loss of her car.

*Actually the strip seems determined to make the lives of all of its characters miserable.

Finally, dad woke up. I gotta be grateful for something that makes sense in this strip. Doesn’t happen every day!

Uh-oh. The Parental Unit makes one of his infrequent appearances at a most awkward time. He should 1) get on with his Hawaii trip, and 2) congratulate his daughter on her clever entrepreneurship!
