I saw a TV show a few years ago, and it said that Lisa (Mona is a form of address, similar to “my lady” in English, it’s not her name) was weaing something that was usually worn by pregnant women. Might that be the reson for the smile?

Jack is probably wearing a Speedo or similar budgy smuggler under his robe. But when Bernice tells Luann about seeing Jack in a state of near-nudity, Luann becomes extremely jealous. And so starts an arc where Luann pursues Jack and hilarity ensues.

This got weird.

HOORAY, it’s Jack!!! Who will pose naked in the background making Monna Bernice smile!? Nil has a wicked sense of humor, I love him! Bernice will find herself living a situation that she has dreamed who know how many times, I wonder if she will be happy or if she will refuse full of embarrassment. She could end up having a big fight with Nil and Jack could side with Bernice, or be the one able to convince her to continue. I love this story!

Bernice may not be attracted to Jack, but even without her glasses, she can appreciate is Bodice Ripper type physique. (And, send her to admire more of the cover art on her books, possibly imagining Piro as the main feature.)

HUGE turn of events! ;-) Can’t wait to see what happens on Monday! Hopefully it doesn’t go into another arc!!

I just looked up the first publishing date for this comic and it was 3/17/85. Gregg obviously made the choice of having his characters grow up – at a very slow rate. It has taken 37 years to reach the point where the physical side of life has to be addressed, although these kids are facing it in college, when in real life it happens to kids in high school and, unfortunately, for some kids in grammar school.

So readers shouldn’t be shocked that this comic is turning a big page in life in a manner that is trying to be entertaining, and, so far, this segment as been really good with it twists and turns.

will it be a smile, a smirk or a jaw drop? Nil will have to get Jack’s position just right. One thing we know is that Jack has modeling experience and he can set the example.

I see a painting with a smiling Mona Lisa in the forefront and a naked man in the background, so unfortunately, Bernice might end up with her back turned toward Jack. Maybe Nil will catch her pose as she turns to get a good look!

Apparently Nil is an artist with a sense of humor! Also, I suspect he is aware of the fact that Berniece has an interest in Jack and has set this up to gauge her reaction.

So I guess now we get a week of Bernice shamelessly ogling Jack, something which would not be as funny if the genders were reversed.
