Is Toni older than Brad or unknown? Brad should be around 23 +/- (Luann is still 19, maybe turns 20 on the 21st of this month and Brad is 4 (or 3) years older). If Jonah is younger than Brad , he was probably 16/17 when Shannon (6 yo) was born, which would explain a lot.

Greg and Karen should be congratulated for creating interesting, deep characters. This is not Andy Capp with the same 3 or 4 jokes for 50+ years.

This is the first time they’ve had some piece and quiet alone time for a month? They can do anything they want without being interrupted? Well, I’m telling ya, I’d be feeling something, too…but I think the chosen word to be used would would transcend the word “romantic”.

These weeks with Shannon have been fun, especially when she yelled at that angry wacko woman defending her aunt and uncle from her. It’s sad to see her go, it seems Toni misses her already a lot. Let’s hope Brad’s romance can help her feel better.

Here is a thought maybe this is a Turing point for Jonah. A steady job, a place of their own more time together and maybe a new character/characters to the strip.

I had a ‘70 Chevy Nova with a 350. Loved the car and kinda wish I had it back to restore it. Had a settle on restoring my wife’s 66 Mustang Coupe that she drove when it was new.

I don’t like Shannon OR Jonah! And Toni and Brad are incredibly boring. The non family of Luann are the only characters with potential of being funny or at least interesting. It;s only my opinion, but a strong opinion.

Wish I could enjoy the romance kills sadness

Whatever you think of Jonah, and he is definitely lacking in common sense and impulsive, you cannot deny the love that he and Shannon have for each other.He is in his mind trying to make her life better. He stepped up and took responsibility for her when her mother left. Shannon has her behavior problems but apparently is happy. Even if she doesn’t have a real bed to sleep on. I know people who have told me that they never realized how poor their family was until they grew up. Yet they considered their childhood as being happy. And Shannon has gained a much closer bond with her aunt to help with whatever she cannot get from her father. When she is older, she will probably be able to recognize what was lacking, but that will not lessen her love for him.

I’m still waiting to see their fridge with Shannon’s poster ofer it.
