Wow stef is major paranoid. I’d bet stef is willing to cancel her previous engagements to move in with tiffany and kip in order to keep an eye on them.
Pretty easy to understand why Tom decided to build that pool house like this and what he used it for… It still difficult to understand why Stef allows her boyfriend to stay there for the summer. It’s s clear that she’s afraid that he will be unfaithful and does not hide that she don’t trust Tiffany at all. What kind of weird relationship these two have!? What does Stef want to prove by letting Kip be the summer bodyguard for Tiffany? That she trusts him, even if in the strangest way possible? Cant wait for see what disaster will happens. Maybe nothing will happen between Tiffany and Kip, but Stef will becomes more and more paranoid about it, calling every 5 minutes and ending up running back for see what they are doing. That would be kinda fun.
Actually, I could see Steph’s point of view. The big thing is that you can have no control over the actions of others. If Kip moving in is a deal-breaker for her, she should simply state that she is not comfortable with the arrangement and cannot remain in the relationship were he to move in. Her current actions are a clear indicator that Kip she views Kip more as a resource than as a relationship.
This is what happens when G&K have to stretch a story to Saturday – monotonous BS over and over and over. The situation was interesting at first but now it’s become tiresome and boring. They always just keep yammering on and on about the same subject and progressively making it more and more stupid. They should buy a farm so they could actually flog a real mule and stop this peculiar habit in their comic strip.
In my opinion there is an extra lady there, what does it seem like to the gentleman to throw away that extra lady, like throwing away a bad habit and we all know which one he should throw away!
No mention of dad’s beefed up security system yet. Tiff could mention that she would have Kip try to test or challenge the security system by going from point A to point B without being detected. See if that would help (sarcasm) the conversation.
X-ray vision? At that distance, even if Tiff were to leave her blinds open, Kip would need telescopic vision (or, a decent pair of binoculars) to see anything. Tif, I know you want a house mate for the summer, but at the rate Steff is going, the only way to appease her is for her to forget her summer plans, and, move in with Kip in the pool house for the summer. Are you so desperate for a summer house mate that you’d put up with what they did in the privacy room back at the quad, with (if it’s even possible) MORE frequency.
Stef, just tell him it’s a deal-breaker! This griping has gone on long enough. Being fair, it is kind of a nonsensical thing for a boyfriend to do. Kip should realize that it’s making his girlfriend uncomfortable and ease off with the gaslighting. Most partners would have concern over potential infidelity. We also know it’s not a preposterous assumption cause Kip and Tiff have been flirting.
At this point, Kip’s making me kind of hope the idea I had yesterday about Stef canceling Miss Yams and imposing herself is the case just to punish Tiffany and Kip for even suggesting the idea; but then I realize dealing with the love triangle is more of a punishment for the readers since this “gripe-gaslight-gripe” thing (where nobody gets anywhere with trying to plead their case) is tiresome and this is all before anyone has even moved in with Tiffany…
Let’s review the timeline here. Kip is the one who initially offered to “room” with Tiff for the summer and not with reservations either; he did so with enthusiasm which now reveals how possessive, insecure and manipulative Steffie really is. To her Kip is like a dog on a leash. “Owning” him is her sole sense of identity; she probably doesn’t have any other friends and certainly not any women friends. Kip stays with her because of the “benefits”; I think he also feels a little protective and sees her as this lonely southern belle marooned on a large liberal California campus. But as of late he’s starting to wonder if there is anything else in life. A summer free of Steffie and with a nice place to stay may have seemed like a dream but it is now turning into a nightmare. Tiff’s effort to placate are just encouraging Steffie in her detail oriented effort to manage Kip from a distance.
Tiffany should just quit talking with Stephanie. Steph does not “own” Kip though she seems to think so. That attitude alone would cause me (if I were Kip) to end the relationship with Stephanie.
Relationships without trust and faith in the other person are not really relationships IMO.
This is so funny! I love Kip’s punchlines, x-ray vision! None of those answer the question about how Kip could help her if someone broke into the manse while Tiff was there, although he is a quarterback, knew how far the distances are, and probably could make that 45 yards in 10 seconds? That might still be not enough to protect our girl. I still think this is all misdirection. What’s the best way to keep things hanky-panky less? Convince Bets and Gunther to stay in the mansion in one of the bedrooms. I think Steph has a right to be suspicious, her jealousy notwithstanding. I can see these two violating her trust, no issue, although Kip is a horndog, who really wants to be faithful, in his forebrain, you know the rational part in the cortex? All the devilish parts are deeper, he is a horndog, Tiff id attracted. Whether she wants to or not, the cheat question remains open. With Bets and Gunther around, less likely.
“one way” glass only prevents the person in a brighter area from seeing into a darker area. At night, with the lights on, they protect the privacy of the peeping Tom while making the person in the lighted room fully visible.
Good for a pool house when the people by the pool are in the sunlight.
Tiff is being very accommodating to Stef who does not seem to be appeasable. She should leave the argument to Kip and Stef, unless she is really desperate for a roommate at any cost.
This story line triggers feelings and memories for people in many scenarios. Being falsely accused and being treated like a child over a seemingly genuine concern. Both parties could have reacted differently. Kip could be more assuring, holding Stephany close and letting her know she’s the only one for him. Stephany is obviously overreacting and appears spoiled and demanding but we don’t know her backstory, what triggers her. I think that the writers did a good job since everyone seems to be able to relate somehow. It is obvious that Kip doesn’t care for Stephany, if he ever did, which could be why she’s so franticly demanding.
For those genuinely concerned about privacy, there is no such thing as a one-way window. Whichever side is brighter becomes a mirror. That means, at night, with darkness outside and light inside, people can see in. (Tinting is something else.)
The boy needs to consider this constant bird doging. If they marry, it will be 10 times worse. Dump her now, I have personal experience, Dump her and move on!
In a relationship it’s normal to have a “tiny bit” of concern especially if it’s a new relationship, but this is nuts. She obviously doesn’t trust him at all.
You would think Stef would prefer a nice pool house over a bunch of blankets hanging from the ceiling and a mat on the floor…… The whole “Privacy Hut” was rather disgusting…. Who in their right mind? Make you wonder about Kip. Guess it’s all about hormones. LOL
