They fed her those lines. It’s their own fault she’s parroting them back to them.

Attention, G & K! You know how you have many story lines, and you often break one off on Saturday to return to it months later?

This is one, which if you break it off tomorrow, nobody will mind if you never return to it!

She did a good job, now can we please just end this fiasco?!

I brand Luann as Happy As She Is.

As I said yesterday, I think that Karen made good ending points about Luann’s character during this storyarc, in order to address reader complaints in this area.

She gets it. Just that nobody WANTS it.

Those sure sound like closing words. Can we finally put this story behind us?

Reading this arc is a waste of time… I don’t get it!

Someone(s) didn’t get it, but it’s not Luann.

And WE just wasted two weeks reading a storyline that only pointed up how boring Luann is, and how inept Tiffany and Bets are.

Meanwhile, the clock’s ticking on that assignment, kids!

I really like how it’s impossible to tell if Luann is sincere or is teasing them. Bets and Tiffany were unable to see the flaws in their idea and that’s bad. But as business partners they are a great couple and I hope they’ll continue to work together. I also hope they’ll come up with something to say to Luann in the future, I’m really curious to see what they could come up with for her. In the end, this discussion was very positive for Luann, it had been a long time since she looked so happy and proud of herself. Let’s hope it lasts.

Bets the Bae and Tuff❤️Tiff (Built for Comfort, Not for Speed) have spent the last two weeks reinventing the Ann❤️Eiffel Wheel (of Shoog Daddy Fortune) as far as rebranding… Our Gorgeous Heroin(e), Ann❤️Eiffel has rebuked and rebranded numerous other baes into the Sultry and Predatory ❤️Eiffelettes in her Image. Gotta ❤️ it, lowly unworthies. Just like you ALL ❤️ Dearest Ann❤️Eiffel and Our Be❤️ed, Handsome, Patriot Extraordinaire ❤️Count! TTFN and have an Ann❤️Eiffel Day!! Count…OUT!

Now Bets has a third shirt on while she is at Luann’s. It is the same color as the one she wore April 15, but this has long sleeves and no buttons or cuffs. She really needs to share the bag she packed with Tiffany, who is still in her work clothes.

I like the way this ended. Tiffany was a real a$hole to Luann and the only reason this whole “brand business” came up was because they were gossiping about Stefanie. When they realized that Stefanie is just fine with who she is, Tiffany went after Luann (who she thought would be an easy mark) but she is fine with who she is too! Maybe they should come up with a business idea that isn’t based on putting people down?

I love that Luann came out on top. She got the best of these so called experts.

Turns out Luann wasn’t just screwing with them, and actually wants a rebrand despite being completely unhelpful. So she’s not malicious, just dumb. Of course so are Tiff and Bets for thinking their idea was any good.

Am I the only one here who doesn’t think Luann needs a brand? She’s the namesake of the strip and has been since 1985. I doubt the strip would be relevant without her in the long run, even though story arcs involving other characters can sometimes last weeks or a few months.

The Luann strip lost it’s original purpose, appeal, and direction when the kids graduated from high school. Their transition has been a total failure.

And so, another predictable and typical ending for another Luann story. I really enjoyed this one. Still think that the writers are having some fun at the expense of the “In Crowd” in here at the asylum. Tiff and Bets could turn in great rebranding projects if they used their techniques on THEMSELVES, or each other. Each have experienced failures in their original “brands”, and could use some new insights.

Luann is being herself. It’s Tiff and Bets who don’t get it. You don’t diminish a client to make your business plan work, you find the correct client.

They did help her, just not the way they intended. They’re the ones who reframed her as being full of potential, they just don’t see the value of using that as a “brand.”

Lord. Look, I know that characters should have flaws because otherwise how can the grow and what would be the point of having them in the first place, right? But….could you at least maybe let Tiff and Bets grow, just a little? They’ve been in stasis for too long at this point.
