Be careful for what you wish for Shannon. Your dad might meet someone while gone and you end up with a step-mom. Hopefully she’d be a good one and not like Cinderella’s evil stepmother.

Tomorrow! Oh Shannon. Time does not run like that in this comic strip. If Toni were to get pregnant tonight, it would still take another decade for her to have the baby.

Just hope that if dad meets someone “special” someday that she is mom-material and not self-centered.

Hmmm, I’m wondering if Shannon is going to ask how kids are made, or perhaps she’s already figured that out herself in her own manner since she thinks Toni can have a kid tomorrow.

I watched ’The Umbrella Academy" recently….they made the one day pregnancy happen. They can add a little Marigold to the strip, right?

Nice, now that Shannon has made a request, it’s clear that the birth of Brad and Toni’s child is a sure thing and will be within 2025. I say this as a person who was also born at the request of a older sister who felt lonely. I want to see Shannon become overprotective of her little cousin!

All that trouble get Shannon to calm down and sleep and the first thing Toni does is go in and wake her up??

Toni thinks to hereself, “Thank goodness it’s at least nine months.”

If Brad and Toni can’t have kids, they can always get a dog…!

Toni is definitely wise beyond her years.

Mrs. Degroot? Wouldn’t Nancy at this point be considered to be like an Aunt, since Shannon isn’t Toni, and, Brad’s kid (Yet.) And, I know she’s met Nancy before, and, Luann’s father, they’ve helped take care of her in the past when both junior Degroots are on shift, and, Luann isn’t available.And, Shannon, as for the idea of your Aunt Toni having a baby TOMORROW, there are a couple steps that have to take place before that happens.

This is about the sweetest strip of this series. It just makes me kind of smile and it came from Toni and Shannon! Reminds me of one the reasons I visit this strip. It’s not all about the humor.

After all, Amazon’s having a sale with one-day delivery.

This is the first time I have felt kindly toward that kid.

This strip is a good reminder, Shannon is a little kid who doesn’t have the best situation to grow up in.

IBoo this arc! This is all about validating Toni’s opinion on kids. No issues need exploring on her part…it’s all bad Brad.

This is heading towards Brad and Toni taking custody of Shannon (AKA the beginning of this comic going even FURTHER downhill).
