Well,, that’s a twist. From the height of her fall Tiffany could well be dead, or have a broken back leaving her in a wheelchair for life. Or she could develop amnesia or be trapped unconscious in her secure house for weeks until she recovers. (LOGICALLY speaking after a day or two the police could be asked to make a wellness investigation, determine that she’s still inside and (coordinating with her security system) break in.

Feeling down

Ouch! Didn’t see that coming. Intruder probably is gone. Oxford is on the phone, comes to the house, rescues Tiff, which starts a serious relationship beyond Pals!

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it! 8^ )

Weeeell, the snit just got REAL.

If Tiff survives, (And I’d say she WILL seeing that she’s one of the most popular characters in the Strip) I wonder if this will cure her of staying in the manse alone?

Others have suggested that if Tiff does stay home, she should invite others to live with her. I vote for Bets and Dez and maybe some brand-new character moving in.

At the very least, Poppa Tom should consider hiring servants back. Like Bruce Wayne, Tiff needs her very own “Alfred(a).”

Oh.

One more thing: Is Tiff really calling Ox or someone else?

Why can’t nice things happen to Tiff? Someone else said Greg likes to abuse her. I agree.

Bummer! Not liking this. Not funny.

I admit it, I was shocked. Now it will be vital for Ox to go quickly and get Tiffany to safety.

And I hope this is a great lesson for Bets and she learns not to make fun of the one who offered her accommodation on vacation in order to get likes.

Well that’s an unexpectedly dark turn. But as the storyarc with Tara and her cousin showed us, Tiffany will probably end up being perfectly fine. G&K like to tease dramatic events and then wimp out of featuring actual consequences.

Once again Tiffany provides the majority of the drama in the strip lately. Since the robbery at the Fuse, Tiff has weathered a Gun/Bets breakup, being snubbed by Dez and Bets in the Quad room assignments a promiscuous. unsanitary roommate, an a$$ chewing from daddy, being goaded by Bets into a sucker bet, accused of theft and discounted again by her quad mates! Luann has seen a couple of jerks as a apprentice mentor!

No wonder there are those seeking a name change for the strip.

So all those people were bored by all the light plots will now be happy. And a whole new chorus will rise up in protest in their place, of those who want only light plots in their cartoons, so that they can relax. Me, I enjoy both ways, and feel that the strip strikes a pleasing balance.

Observing the position of her hand (and other body parts);

She’s on her back.

Her head is turned to the right (away from her phone).

Her right leg is crossed over her left, at such a strong angle, that her right hip is raised off the floor.

I don’t know if this is going to be something serious. Or just a Halloween trope arc.Which I sincerely hope it isn’t (though it obviously is). I mean, a pretty single girl alone in a big mansion? Suspects there’s a prowler? Tries to call for help, but falls down the stairs, and lies injured on the floor? Yeah, all the check marks of a classic Hitchcock thriller (or a cheesy Corman one).

The real question is: who’s on the phone? I see two possible choices. Ox or Bets.

(ﾉ*0*)ﾉOMG!!! Poor Tiff! I hope she’s okay, but it looks like she’s down for the count. She didn’t deserve this.

She’s not dead but she is unconscious, probably has broken bones. She did fall down the stairs so she needs medical attention…immediately.

I used to see people running down stairs while looking at their phone. I don’t know how they were able to do it.

Maybe Les is in the house or nearby because he’s the one that broke in. Or, a better twist would be if Ann Eiffel broke in!

I remember when we thought Tara might be dead after her cousin hit her with a car. Tara wound up with minimal injury. But in today’s episode, I predict Tiffany will spend some time in a hospital.

OMG. That is a long trip from the end of the upper steps, to the landing, and then down the lower steps to the main floor. That’d be a serious injury for anyone in real life. This is Luanniverse so I think Tiff is not injured – just knocked out.

Toto, I have a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore.

Totally unexpected and very dramatic! Tiffany is seriously doing the death pose from “Family Guy” and I’m afraid she has lost consciousness and is unable to answer her phone. How will Ox get into the mansion now? He will call the firefighters (so Brad’s or Toni’s team) and he will be waiting outside, scared to know what happened the his friend. I really hope Tiffany is ok and she has nothing broken.

I always tell everyone not to run while looking at their phone. Now, running while going down the stairs on their phone is even worse.

If this was a Hallmark movie Tiff would get amnesia and not remember her life or anyone in it. After a really long arc she would remember pieces of her life and in the end find her true love. All Hallmark rom coms have a happy ending.

OK, how did she end up at the bottom of the stairs? She would have had to fall down the first set of stairs, then stop and change direction on the landing.

A vinyl removable grid on top of the glass is the energy efficient and easier way to clean windows these days. No intruder. No death either. Recuperation for Tiffany and probably can’t be left alone during that time…so does she go back to the dorm or do the dorm mates come to her?

Is Tiff now a stiff? We’ll know in a jiff.

I actually thought she fell yesterday in the last panel. This is the one scary thing about living alone. The person knows her, so it’s not 911. Wonder if it’s Gunther rather than Ox. Hope she’s ok. :-/

A cliffhanger ….!! Kind of a dark turn, as someone else has mentioned. At least she got through to somebody (Ox, I’m guessing???). Hopefully whoever she called will respond quickly if she doesn’t answer. Thinking also that she may have stumbled on that baseball or softball that may have been batted through the window.

I’m thinking it is not Ox on the phone. The ’what’s up’ comment suggests someone who doesn’t know her situation, i.e. that she that she just moved. If it is Gunther then (on hearing no response) he will call Bets to find out where she might have gone.

Boy a classic GnK misdirection play cliff-hanger. I hope Tiffany is okay, and I think she probably is physically okay, as part of the storyline. My predictions for next week, and beyond? Well, I’m of the school of thought that Tiffany will decide to return to the dorm and her “friends” (which they are, friends aren’t perfect, which the arc shows clearly, but I think grounds for improvement are being laid) and all kinds of possibilities will be presented, some of which will come true. Let the story continue!

I’m pretty sure Tiff called Ox. He knows she’s in the manse, comes over finds her, calls an ambulance, Tiff ends up in the hospital with some broken bones. Will she drop out of Muni for a semester? Daddy shows up, hears about everything that led to her moving back home and decides to pay for a single room at Muni.

The question at this point is: Who’s calling?I say Ox, since he is the only one who has stood by her, and seems to care.

This is one reason why, on average, people who live alone have shorter life expectancy. While the fall might be disastrous, there is some luck that a phone call was connected at the time. (That disregards Tiffany’s use of the phone while running caused the accident.)

This is pretty awful. But I’m thinking Ox will come to her rescue.

If something’s broken, it’s still not a good reason to live on campus with 3 witches, okay, Evans? Nor is it a good reason to fulfill Ox’s puppy dog dreams of being with Tiffany! Anyway, maybe she’ll fine, like when Tara got hit by a car.

Oh lord. I don’t know why she and Bets couldn’t have just stayed at the manse when school started. Now she’s hurt and alone. And again, where is the staff?!

From her body position, presuming she has not expired….. it looks as if she could have a concussion and a broken arm as likely afteffects.

I believe Ox will arrive and save the day. And this will be a real turning point in their relationship as Tiffany finally begins to see him in a new light.

This took a bad turn, didn’t it? All because Stef was too much for Tiffany to handle, which she is.

Alas, poor Tiff; I knew her, Horatio. And I didn’t like her.

Here’s another possibility: Tiffany may have been pushed from behind by the intruder..

That looks like a serious fall for what could actually be nothing.

There is no way that Tiffany is dead. She has been around since the 7th Luann comic strip when she was mentioned as a rival for the affections of Aaron.

So…..does this “fall” under “drama a day” as Bets described Tiffany, or “getting our panties in a knot” as Stephie put it?

If Tiffany dies, Stef (as her roomie) will think she’s entitled to a free passing grade. She’ll want to celebrate like it’s graduation.

RIP Tiffany. Betts should hustle on over and get the video of the body online before it’s cold. Stef can perform a memorial cheer in her honor.

What kind of mansion doesn’t have a security system that detects windows being broken? I have sensors on all of my windows, though not the sound sensors to detect broken glass as the windows are hurricane impact glass and would take a some heavy duty tools to break them.

Tiff’s dad is really being cheap on the security system if his doesn’t have the latest and best equipment, especially since his daughter is home alone most of the time or off to college while he is out of the country.

okay who will be call Tiff on her Cell to cause her to lose her balance and fall and tumble down the stairs.

I do hope Tiff isn’t badly hurt.

I also hope this doesn’t convince her to move back to the dorm. Or, equally bad, have her dorm mates move in with her. It would be really great if this incident made Tom decide to come back home and stay with his daughter for a while.

As I said, it would be really great, so of course, it will never happen.

I would like to see a scene where Bets is being interviewed by the police – seems the intruder they arrested found all the details they needed about the mansion from her website.

It looked like the window was hit by a baseball. And it was on an upper floor. Would an intruder risk an alarmed window and potentially be seen on a ladder? Shouldn’t the manse be fitted with an alarm system on every window and door? It doesn’t make sense. Ox to the rescue? A hospital stay for Tiff? Roommates at the manse? Stay tuned.

Wow! Wondering if it wasn’t an intruder but a ball that went through the window, ended up a bit down the stairway and she stepped on it causing the fall.

Wow, this took a dark turn! (#6 by my count)

The curve to the bar perfectly fits a fireman’s helmet. Brad’s head went through the window when the fire engine accidently backed up in rescuing a cat.

The bars were supposed to be solid wrought iron. But Brad’s head went through two pieces of hollow square stock that were tack welded and puttied over to make it look solid.

Ann was the one who was in charge of putting wrought iron bars over the windows for security.

She preprogramed an eventual break-in.

This storyline would be good for a two month long arc.

But then again, I’m not Karen.

When Tom Farrell hears about this, he will begin the transformation from absent father to helicopter parent.

I assume that Tiff, was talking to Ox, I hope he goes to check on her, on the other hand I am surprised that a mansion like the one she lives in doesn’t have a security system, I mean, rich people are always targets for robberies!

So, the burglar broke the window, bent the bars.

Then his trained monkey went through the window, climbed down the stairs, deactivated the alarm, (he had the code) but had 90 seconds to get to the panel.

Finally the crew was in and did their part if thejob.

Did our girl just die like a Family Guy character? lolol
